All my content is in pocket now!

One bug issue here needs to be fix.

Ironman cool guy

I’m on an iPhone 7’s and as well a Premium user, I don’t know if this is also effecting every iPhone 7’s or early for its members, but the app itself needs to address a bug issue here. The search text bar is not displaying full or no results after searching up saved content titles and items. If this issue can be aware and resolved, I can definitely give this rating up to 5 stars. Thank you! ?

Please fix highlighting bugs

TLenczuk

Highlighting has been an issue since I started using this very useful app. I don’t have the issue on web but on mobile it’s a 50/50 shot whether the highlighting functionality will work correctly on iOS. Please think about how you can make this a better experience for users...specifically on the iPhone. Thanks.

Need to be able to use my entered tags to search and filter my saved content preferably with the same suggestion engine provided for adding tasks

Great App!

I’ve had this app for about 3 years and while I don’t know all that it does, what I know that it does is awesome! Touch Pocket and whatever you were reading is now saved in your Pocket account just like it was in the “pocket of your computer!” Easy peazy!

Getting Weary

This app provides the ability to save information and access it later when you have time to read it. An example is reading articles while waiting for your vehicle maintenance work to be completed. This app is very helpful and I really valued it in the beginning after the download. It appears Pocket does not check out some of the articles that are provided. These are not fact checked and are sometimes very biased. An example are the article written by “The Atlantic”. I hate to stop using this app but have grown weary from the “fake” information. I get enough of that “fake news” from the National news programs which I have stopped watching.

Doesn’t download more than 1/3 of a page

I mainly use this app for recipes that I have found. It used to download the entire recipe. The ingredients, the instructions, the nutritional value, and photos. Now all it does is download 1/3 of the recipe. Most of the times there are no ingredients and only a few instructions. This app used to work. What happened? It used to be a great app and now it’s just useless.

Good, but really needs improvements.

Please note that I often use the web browser more and I don’t usually use the app for more than just being able to save to Pocket with one click. This is going to be an overview of Pocket in general. I’ve been looking for a service like this and Pocket was one of the recommendations, so I tried it out. I like it so far, but it really, really needs improvements. I mainly got it because I wanted to be able to save Animal Crossing custom designs and island designs I find on the internet. It’s good so far, I like how it can be integrated with several other platforms. I like its simplicity and how I can save it with just one click. I like the tagging system and the article viewer. I also appreciate that the developers seem to be active and do respond to reviews and they gave pretty quick, thorough responses when I messaged them via Facebook messenger. I really appreciate that because I want my requests and feedback to be heard, and to know how to best utilize it for what I want. I like the bulk edit feature too! However, my biggest issues with it is two things: 1. I can’t change edit the title of the saved item like one can in Instapaper. If I save something from Pinterest, for example, the title is usually “Pinterest (# of notifications)”. This is frustrating, especially because I have no way to tell what exactly I saved until I click on it, and article viewer doesn’t work for that. Because my micro sd card slot doesn’t work on my switch, I’ve been uploading screenshots and captures to Facebook, which I use due to the ability to privately save it. When I save the post or video to Pocket, the title always shows up as “Log in or Sign Up for Facebook” and the thumbnail is oftentimes the Facebook logo. This may be partially because it’s privated, but still. If I open the image or video in a new tab to get the thumbnail, the title is the link and makes it hard to tell what exactly I saved if I were to find it later. Being able to edit titles to the correct one, or something I can remember, would be absolutely amazing. It does say in their “Top Requested Features” page on their support site that it’s “Under Construction”, so I sincerely hope they actually do implement it soon! The second issue I have is the fact I cannot change the thumbnail of the pocketed item. As aforementioned, the thumbnail doesn’t show up for it, so it’s hard to tell what I saved. Being able to set a thumbnail would be a fantastic feature. I would also like to have an ability to write a summary or note for a pocketed item, like you can in Instapaper. Implementing any of these features, preferably all 3 or at least the first two, would make Pocket a 5-star app easily. PS: I’ve also experienced a bug where my other pocketed pages wouldn’t appear after I scrolled down a lot. I’m almost positive I had saved stuff before then. Pocket doesn’t delete things, does it?

Awesome curation app

I use this app all the time to bookmark articles to read later. I love the clean interface and the simple layout sans the ads and other images on the website.
