Please fix highlighting bugs

Highlighting has been an issue since I started using this very useful app. I don’t have the issue on web but on mobile it’s a 50/50 shot whether the highlighting functionality will work correctly on iOS. Please think about how you can make this a better experience for users...specifically on the iPhone. Thanks. Covid seems to be on a positive path to resolution but this one is still not fixed. Further, there’s actually a new bug where after a highlight the text will scramble altogether in the article. Not sure how this could get worse.

Web view seems to be the default mode if you tap on any of the articles in the widget. In web view, as soon as I scroll down a bit in a story, the entire article zooms out to an unreadable microscopic size. Also, when I am reading an article hosted on getpocket.com in web view, it keeps showing ads asking me to sign up to save the article, even though I am literally viewing the article inside the pocket app, which I am signed into. Why does web view not know I’m signed into the app? Am I supposed to sign in twice to use the app in its default mode? Are there better settings available that I could use? If so, why are those settings not default?

New update, oh no...

Every time I sign on and see something new, meaning you guys did a new update, I shake my head like "oh no, what isn't going to be working now?" Like clockwork, now I can't add tags, at all. First off, as of yesterday, I could click on "add tags" and type a letter or two of the tag, it'd search and come up with the word, I'd click on it and be done. As of today, it doesn't search for the tag, so I put the whole word in, but can't click on "save", so there's no tag function working now. Of course this is only on desktop, I have no idea what you guys messed up on the mobile version. If you really wanted to "support" your customers "technically", you'd revert this app and program to the functionality it had 7 or 8 years ago, it just worked, everything just worked, perfectly, every update you guys have done since then has made it "look nicer", but everytime it breaks some other function that I used to love about it, then by the time that's fixed I'm just thinking oh no what isnt going to be working now, it’s a great way to lose customers

UPDATE 2/1/21 Another month goes by without any rectification from the pocket support team. They want you to believe with their faux apologies that they “care” and are working “diligently” to solve the problem. Nothing could be further from the truth. 9 months with no redress, speaks for itself! (Previous Review Below) (Previous Review) I have been a pocket user since it’s beta inception. Being a pocket pro member, I have been in constant contact with pocket support for over 5 months with no redress of the problem. Numerous bug reports, screenshots, videos and the underwhelming response from pocket support is Sorry for the inconvenience are developers are working on it. Five months without rectification speaks for it’s self.

I have used a pocket up for years and I’ve really enjoyed every aspect of it, but recently I am not able to pin items to it as it seems like on iPhone it is no longer available to “share” to. It seems the option is gone,And this is an absent websites that I have and hundreds of articles previously. Any help would be amazing!

Really, this is one of the best apps and I keep recommending to anyone having similar needs. Only feedback is, I could only see count of articles in total but don’t know how to see number of articles under each tag, any advice on how to do that?

Same exact product as it was when initially released. Keep in mind that ALL of your personal data/profile is entirely *unencrypted*; login “security” is equally 1980’s inexcusable. At a bare minimum, there’s this thing called “2FA.” I’ve repeatedly brought this to ‘Customer Services’ attention, and remains (as we can all see!) *unchanged* and ignored. Who’s found better alternatives? Please share here!
