Great reading assistance

Fump40

I often come across articles that I want to read but don’t have the time. Pocket allows me to save and return at a later time. Really enjoy using Pocket.

Really Convenient

I’ve used Pocket now for the past 4 years and boy is it convenient! Whenever I see an interesting article I simply press the share button and choose Pocket, and (after opening the app at least once to let it sync) I can read it later while on the bus or in a car all without a cellular connection! My one gripe however is that you cannot manually trigger a download for individual articles, you can only change the global setting which applies to ALL your articles. (In Pocket’s settings “Fetch Article” or “Ferch Web View”)

Great app

ottotheotter

“Save to Pocket” button is amazing. I wish there was an “Open in Pocket” button and an easier way to highlight multimedia content.

Overpriced

Hays.Donald

The price for subscription is too high. At max the fee should be 20 dollars per year. Using a Kobo, no highlight features are available. ?

Poor implementation and lacking

Appthinker

This app is a pass. It doesn’t give you a better place to read but it will spam your email with a ton of links you didn’t ask for constantly. I just don’t find myself using it ...maybe that’s the reason for constant email spam

Fantastic

angeson hey

Truly the Best investment I ever made. Money well spent! Thanks! I also like the feature of it converting the article to speech and reading it back to me!

Bad text selection

Juanmisimo

Whenever you try to select text it goes crazy all over the place. Please fix and def 5 stars

Capture it and go

servingstrong

The Pocket app has been a Godsend. All through the day, as I come across great articles that I don’t have time to read in the moment, I send to my pocket to read them all at one sitting. My productivity is through the roof. And adding a quick tag allows me to keep every piece of info organized.

Left wing rag promoter

Only promotes left wing publications. Dont waste your time

The text to audio playback features is so buggy and unusable

kevinwiz

The main reason I use pocket is to save articles I want to read. It stores then in a visually appealing way. Unfortunately the audio playback is so buggy. It stops and never starts again in the same spot. It’s impossible to know you left off. It loses your spot all the time which in a long article is extremely frustrating The app didn’t used to be like this. It even used to highlight the text so you could read along if you wanted to see how something was spelled. I hope this will be fixed. I like the cross compatibility of pocket. But I might look elsewhere.
