WAY TOO EASY

Basically beat the game in 4hours. Not enough challenges you can barely upgrade buildings has potential though!

Simcity you’ve been looking for!

Waited for this game to come out! No IAP!

Ive been waiting for a game like this for five years!

I could not be happier. I figured out the interface pretty quickly, i can easily save and switch between cities and there is an easy to use god mode. I love this and give huge thanks to Bobby Li. This game will be my favorite game by tomorrow.

Graphics doesn’t look inappropriate

Fix!! It please I spend 5 dollars for a 2001 graphic game...

Nice relaxing if slightly boring

Not really much depth to this other than putting things down and they pretty much work no matter what. No real thought needed and you are limited to basic blocks. Not any replay value I can see. It’s well done but don’t expect a city simulation. Also when I upgrade a road to a highway in certain areas all the power goes out!!

Promising but Lacking Complexity

AlphaQX013

This is probably the best city building game on iOS, and it is definitely worth the price, but it feels a bit lacking. Utility and resource management lack complexity, the only government management decisions made are tax levels, and some systems found in similar titles such as waste management are completely missing. I feel increasing the complexity of these systems would add a lot to the experience.

One suggestion/request

If you haven’t played this game, DO IT! It’s a lot of fun! Although I’m having a learning curve knowing where to place power/water sources. I’m sure I’ll figure it out with time. I would LOVE it though it in sand box mode you would have the ability to have no disasters and/or maybe no need for power/water. Maybe you can toggle on and off what you want in sandbox mode? The reason I’d like this is I went into sandbox after a tornado came in and I was frustrated figuring out where the towers needed to be. I was hoping to get to relax and go back to my main later. Then I realized I wasn’t free to place things wherever without resources. Ok. That’s fine. More practice for me. Then.... just as I was placing my fourth building a frEAKING TORNADO CAME AND WRECKED THE LITTLE I HAD AND I JUST LEFT THE APP. So yeah... please help.

Great value, no IAP! Yesss!! Hope to see more features/depth!

I really like this game. It is definitely worth the $5 download. It is a lot like SimCity, and that’s a high compliment! Lots of things to do, plan out your city, put in public transport (being able to choose where to add bus stops is great!), make sure you’re getting more money. I’ve only tried on normal mode, though, and it’s pretty easy to play through. A few thoughts and bugs: — the quest mechanism is good, but a bit gimmicky. It seems like these are really easy quests. I’d like to see some more difficult ones. — the quest where you need to export $300/sec doesn’t seem to work. I got $150/sec exporting each of materials and natural resources, but the quest didn’t get marked as finished. — it’s a bit baffling why parking structures bring down traffic congestion so much, compared to adding bus stops or putting in rail. — I’m not a fan at all of the “shoot to kill” sound the police make during police encounters. Police brutality isn’t a laughing matter. — the cloud save mechanism is nice, except for one thing! I started on my iPhone SE, which is a bit slow for the game when you have a big city (even on potato mode!), so I transferred it to my iPad 6th generation. I started playing it for an hour or so there, and made some progress. But the next time I opened my iPad, the changes I had made were gone! :( :( :( I realize that I had left the option “save downloaded cities to my city” off, but I had no idea I had to turn it on to save my progress. Boooo. :( — I’d love to see more things like the street race, which don’t have to do with developing the city but are new things you get to do in your city. Maybe you get to be a detective to solve a case or something? Really really liking this game though. Five stars if that cloud save default is changed. For the dev only: contact me at simx [at] mac [dawt] com if more details on any of the above is needed.

Poor performance

This app crashes and has terrible frame rate on my iPad. It doesn’t even run well at “potato” graphics level. I’m not sure why an apple application would be designed to make the user adjust the settings anyway. Regardless it doesn’t work.
