Zero Stars - Take your money, and don’t show up!

(I had to select at least one star.). I was hoping to attach my screen shots of activity. I do not see a way to do that here. P&M job was submitted by me on 7/30 to mow the lawn on 8/2. Our credit card was charged, in advance, but no one showed up. Currently, at of 8/10, no one has shown up to mow our lawn. No money refunded. Still need a lawn mowed. Do NOT use this app! You are billed in advance, and they do not care if they complete your job. We have had other delays in the past.

Poor service and jobs never get completed

I scheduled a single service because my landscaper was going on vacation for 2 weeks. The job was accepted but then “postponed” because the provider “ran out of daylight”. I reached out to customer service who said they’d try and get someone out in the next couple of days?! I paid $47 and have no idea when or if the service will be completed. The worst part is I was offered 10% off the next service. Why would I schedule another service when they haven’t even completed this job! I asked about a credit for this service instead and customer service just stopped responding. So now I’m out money and have no idea when or if my lawn will actually get cut.

Good Idea, didn’t deliver

Booked on Thursday morning for Friday. No one showed. Contacted them and was told they had to find a new provider for Saturday. No one showed on Saturday, contacted them again and was told their partner had an equipment issue and would arrive on Sunday. No one arrived on Sunday and after I contacted them again was told late Sunday that the partner wanted another $45 on top of the $67 they were already charging. This was for .17 acres with grass around 6-7 inches (was just under 5 when I originally booked). Very dissatisfied. They did refund my order at least.

I’ll be honest and say I was very displeased with this app. Would schedule a service and it not show up for days. Customer service reached out to me and assured me things would be better. They have been MUCH better and I’ve even signed up for the services to happen every 14 days. They show up and do exactly what I ask for and the price is much cheaper than what I was quoted for by local companies. I’ve even had them weed my beds and they did a great job. Personally, I don’t think they should offer next day services without a guarantee that it can happen and I think that would make people a lot happier. Seems the negative reviews are of that. My recommendation is to schedule something a few days out to give them time and confirm the job.

I hate to give bad reviews,but this has to be said I scheduled weekly lawn cut and the job was not done. When I booked it, the rate for the cut was going rate in the Philly suburbs, and then on the day after it was supposed to get done, I got pinged by text asking to pay almost double. Talk about bait and switch. The app is easy to use but seem like there is no real network of actual providers, and/or the providers they have are very unreliable/unethical.

Service not delivered and no refund issued

So first the positive. They have something that appeals to many younger consumers. It is to easy to price it and book it all over an app. I will say also say that they are extremely pleasant and professional. Which for both of the above reasons makes this difficult to rate them a one star. The problem: They basically are a broker that sub contracts out your lawn care and snow removal to people who sign up render service. The first experience in the winter was favorable. But the lawn service was awful. Basically people with no experience bought a lawn mower and mutilated the lawn. Too bad I can’t upload pics to show you. We signed up to a 10 day plan. Every 10 days some was to show up. The billing is on time. So I was charged for the service. The person never showed. We waited as they promised to get it taken care. They asked please give us one more chance we will make it a priority. 3 weeks later i had to rent a stand on motor to cut the lawn myself. I cancelled the service and requested a refund for the service charged but never performed. They agreed and we parted ways amicably. They never issued the refund! They never performed the service! If anyone is interested I can substantiate this by sharing the pictures and copy of the exchange since it was all by writing. Including their acknowledgment, excuses for lack of service and agreement to issue the refund.
