This app crashes like anything while playing YouTube videos. Very bad performance.

I gave it 4 cause there is room for improvement. For an iPad Pro it works great. Some of the other post on here don’t happen on my iPad. My daughter uses it on her phone to cast to her Apple TV. It has some trouble with files over 1.5 gb. Other than that it works great. Very happy with the ease of use.

Better than what I expected How can I create my own web site icon under the network beside Vimeo, YouTube and dailymotion.

I have videos stored on my desktop. Playerextreme makes it trivial to download and play them on my iPad. And it plays my videos seamlessly. This is the perfect companion to handbrake.

It does not show subtitles with .sub and .idx Even when I renamed them to the same name of my movie file and they all are in a one location

I purchased this app as an easy and quick way to upload movies to my iPad Pro for my son to watch on a 10-hour car trip. I uploaded five movies easily. So far, it works as promised. However, when I tried to play back any of the movies I uploaded....nothing. I get an error every time that says settings must be set to “xtreme” to play. I go and change the settings and I get an “Unable to play this video” error. NOTHING PLAYS IN THIS APP!!! Waste of time and $7.00.

Solid app and much better than alternatives out there. Aspect ratio tool, player controls still need work. And when, when, WHEN will the search function be able to save/remember your search results? It is so annoying to search for a video, check to see if it’s the right one, then lose your search results. Is it really that hard for this app to retain the query? I want to love this app. I’m rooting for it. But it needs some serious development before it claim the mantle of the dearly departed Azul Media Player or VLC.
