I’ve been using this app for a long, long time, even before this was out I used to use Dottable from the same dev. I love using this on my phone while on my commute to work, it gives you so many tools and a very intuitive UI. The one thing I miss is being able to paint with some alpha applied to the brush itself. In Dottable you can set the color to be transparent from the brush itself, here you have to set the layer to be transparent by adjusting its alpha value. Not that big of a deal but Dottable’s approach is more comfortable. All in all, after having tried countless pixel art app, this is the best I’ve found. Well worth the asking price to remove the ads.

So I literally just opened the app went through the little tutorial and that’s it! So far I’m very pleased with the app! The interface is great the tools you have available is amazing especially for a smartphone!! I’m learning software/game development so I know how hard and how much work you have to put into it so great job guys!!! Yes I haven’t actually began to use the app but what a great first impression 90% of apps don’t give off a great first impression so I’m gonna dive straight into this app as soo as I get the chance and I will come back and edit this review and let everyone know but I have to say so far great job to the devs!!

Pixelable is an awesome program, and I absolutely love how the color limit is a lot more than most other pixel art programs. The only issue I have is- come on, cursor tool. Why do you have to save like- every three to five seconds? For someone who uses the undo button a lot, it’s a literal nightmare. I’m not sure why that is a feature, but please make it save after every stroke, it makes life a lot easier.

I love this app and use it all the time, almost everyday. My only suggestion is adding a way to save color palettes!! I use the same colors pretty much on every piece of art and really wish there was a way to save and access a palette I’ve created.

This app really has it all. A variety of tools, a color picker, and a wonderful animation tool for making gifs. It’s not perfect, my largest grievances include the cap on how many layers you can have, and the highest rate at which your animations can be played being 10 FPS, though I wish it were higher, something like 20 or 30, at least 15. Despite that, and a few negligible bugs, you likely won’t find much better than this on the App Store for your pixel art purposes.

This is an amazing app for pixel artists, I really enjoy working on my sprites over here. Every time that I’m working on sprites I’m always starting from this app and then export to my laptop to animate. Still I think would be nice pair of improvements: - Access to projects from multiple devices. For example, It will be amazing if I can start drawing from my phone and then use my iPad to continue. - Save color palette ? Every time that I start new project I have to find again the color palette, could be nice if I just can save that one I build. If those improvements can be made will definitely be a powerful app for pixel artists. ( I mean it is already a powerful app, just is going be SUPER!)

This app is a great pixel editor for iPhone and iPad. It’s easy to use but needs some updates to fix a few things apart from that it’s amazing!!

I love this app so far, nice colours, and not to many bugs! :D good job! But the animation sequences aren’t working on my phone for some reason, as they only show one layer. If you could work on that, that’d be really cool! Otherwise amazing app!! I use it all the time! Good luck and best wishes!

Amazing App, But Unable To Use Any More

I’ve been using this app for almost two years now, and I love it. It’s by far the best pixel editor available for mobile. It’s got great tools, wonderful layering capability, and an amazing animation feature. My two problems: limitations. With having used this for nearly a year, I have now created 100 projects. That means I am no longer able to create new ones. I wish that there were a way to get passed this limit - I would be happy to pay money for more space since I use this app so much. It just seems like the only way I’d be able to make new projects is to delete my older ones.
