ControlApp is an application that allows you to control selected Pioneer products (see model details below) with your iPhone, iPod touch through your home network.

This app worked FLAWLESSY at the beginning... then came the last update. Not sure why, but my receiver connects and disconnects at random. ??? The correct IP remains the same, but it has an unchangeable MAC Address area. GRRR!!! The MAC Address of my receiver is nowhere near what this app is reporting. Where the heck did it come from??? I work IT, and the MAC Address displaying does not appear ANYWHERE in my network! When you can’t change simple things like this...it’s extremely annoying! I used to look up to you...now...not so much.

I used this app for several years and it worked great with my receiver but it randomly stopped working at some point. It can find my receiver but it just spins and goes into demo mode after failing to connect.

Additional functionality needed.

It's 2016 fix the app! It's good when it works but that's hardly ever. A real let down this app is.

The update disabled Pandora now it just shows server error. It was working fine before the update... Just roll the updated back. Thanks in advance. 11/4/2016
