Leave it to pioneer to not know how to write software. Can’t find new receiver in network. Gives great error message, network error c2104.

I have Pioneer N70-A, with AS-WL300. Installed app on iPhone 8 Plus, everything works perfectly, via 150Mbps and Quality Wifi router. Pioneer N-70A excellent audio device!!!

It finds my supported pioneer speaker, but then fails to download the correct data file to interact with it. My guess is that the developer has shut down its server. This is the sort of app that should be retired by Apple.
