I have payed this for many months now but will no longer the last update has made the dealer worse than before it not unusual for your opponents now to get six or seven runs in 7 hands while you get none. Also in cutthroat east always helps west when he has the bid.

I do love it but would like a better partner. Passes while other team is still bidding. Passes when she/he has a good hand.

I love the game! I gave it 4 stars because it is irritating that the cards in your hand move when playing a round I just don’t like that

Your partner plays like a dummy.i play double pass five.my partner has over a hundred meld the bid is 90 by the other Two my partner passes!! Huh!! I bid 110 my partner has hardly any meld not even a marriage then bids 120 huh. I have a double run in hearts my partner passes me 2 jacks An ace and two ten not in hearts He had 2 king of hearts and 2 queens huh dah how stupid !! I have hands I get over a 1000 points yet get no credit from the Game Center . I get a hand with triple aces. Never got any credit for it. Triple run no credit I don’t understand the. Scoreing from Game Center. I get hands with 300 400 sent to Game Center no credit. What’s up. Other than that I like the game.

Sometimes there are 13 trump cards. The review after the game is mis-represented. The game is programmed that way so you WILL buy the better version. Apple should remove the program . Pinochle is a game of counting cards and should be programmed that way. No consistency in points won ..East/West gets an unusual high percentage of pinochle.

Three things bad. One, you are stuck with being South with your partner being North. In this game, North is the dumbest pinochle player I have ever seen. Even dumber than my ex-wife. Two, you get a hand to bid on maybe once every two games. You pass three cards but with North, he doesn’t pass logical cards. Three, if you want to play Nebraska pinochle, allegedly you can ask for a rule change. I did and haven’t heard back yet.

Outrageous amount of meld in games. No partner strategy. Poor shuffling of cards. Wish it was so much better.

Overall, it’s the best pinochle game out there, until I find one with live players. I agree with the poor play of North partner. Although maybe it’s improved in the last year? Biggest pet peeve is that north might open up the bid, so that you pass a potential hand, then *immediately* pass! Second biggest pet peeve, another review mentions this, is that it will bid to high 30s on three legs of double pinochle, it will bid you off it, unopposed from E-W! Then, yes. I have noticed that north will pass a pair of Trump instead of aces or pinochle. It should be easy to program a few more hard, fast, rules that all players abide by.

You can show show the cards of all players in this game. Discovering this actually took some of the fun out of the game but it also reveals how terrible your partner AI is with bidding. I deleted this game when my partner had a run plus extra trump in their hand but they wanted to “bid or bunch.” In other words, throw out the hand and re-deal to everyone. In single deck pinochle you hope to get a run in you trump suit. When you’re dealt one it’s awesome and gives a 90% chance of making out bid and dominating the cars play. The partner has also given up bids while holding 7/8 Aces. Another hand that could easily control the game. As a player you can’t take every bid. But its frustrating and defeating when your partner often throws the game for you. You can adjust the settings to make the computer more bold, but that usually seems to make the opponents stronger, not your partner.
