Poor bidding and play from North partner

Partner will give up the bid or not bid at all with an excellent hand. Another thing that’s super aggravating is that North will use the 10 of trump as a schmear when the card is high and could take a trick. We’ve gotten set because of that. Some serious reprogramming needs to happen!

I have a partner that does not know how to bid within the confines of the card they are holding. They must have been a programmer!! How did you know one of my complaints. I ditto what VAYKAY365 dated Oct 25, 2016 wrote. The computer and computer partner are working together to beat the sole human playing this game. Programmers have done a great job of being able to frustrate the only human playing. It is very exasperating. Try making it more fair. DITTO Programmers must love to win every game because they certainly have written their programs to put the only human behind a great big eight ball. Thanks for taking the competition aspect out of the game. You win!?!?!?!?!?!? Boy do I agree with the above comments. Come on guys, give us human players a chance. 100% agree. Either programmers don’t read the reviews or don’t care what is reported. The play of North is atrocious. Especially when it comes to having 8+ wild suite cards and never bid more than 60. The only human player has passed and North passes also. Come on guys and girls give us a chance.

I've played this game a lot and used to like it but I'm tired of my partner trying to outbid me and the other team getting irrationally amazing hands. How often can one team get double pinochle plus know their partner will pass it to them? And I can have a beautiful run but the other team outbids me and has a run plus aces. I never see this happen in real life as often as it does in this game. I'm done with this app.

If you receive a meld bid, you use it to determine if you want to play. If you do, expect the AI partner to overbid you over and over again. That is very poor programming so I asked support and they confirmed that your partner will give meld whether they want to play or not. Therefore I deleted this game. Too bad because it was very good except for that idiotic decision. If you’re a real pinochle player, don’t bother with this one.
Would love a fair deal

The options and play of this game are really quite nice. One thing makes me keep loading and then removing it from my apps. To be useful for me I need a switch which selects a fair deal. As a semi-professional pinochle player I want to play hundreds of truly average games so I develop a sixth sense to help me make better intuitive bidding decisions. The game code here is dealing an abnormal number of power hands, to one team or the other. Probably for most people the developers think this keeps things interesting. Fine for most people but to be useful for me a simple switch which turns off all the fancy code that selects cards for the deal and instead deals all truly random hands would make make my day.

I’ve been playing since pinochle since I was about 6 yrs. and I’m 62. So when you’re say its fantastic. Take my word on it. Has some quirks but what doesn’t. Enjoy it for what it is. Again great game.

Partner is absolutely TERRIBLE at passing. Whoever designed this doesn’t understand pinochle at all. Also, W and E hardly ever go set. I’ve lost games in literally two hands before. They will shoot the moon and then get double pinochle in back to back hands. If I had to put on a number I would say less than 10% of the time they go set, while N and S do a lot more, and not from poor bidding on my part. I do not use the view all cards button, that seems like cheating to me and is way too simple. Very poor game for the true pinochle player. Download a different one for a better experience.

Lame graphics, poor implementation but better than the other one I tried that used single deck rules for double deck.
