Fun, but...

Others have shared their pet peeves and they’re all true. Mine is when you finally get a hand worthy of bidding, and E/W team bids so wildly (like to 50 points), only to find out they have jack squat. The good news is now they will lose that 50 points. The bad news is you will never know how you would have done. Some of the computer moves are so moronic, but if you don’t mind that, you might have some fun.

I agree with the person who wrote in that the North player is poorly programmed. I just played a hand where North immediately passed on the first round of bidding with 6 cards in a suit, one card short of a run. As North’s partner, I find myself screaming at North constantly. It’s got a few good features, but I’ll play a different pinochle app!

I like the variety of game options, but thats where the good points end... clearly the developer has never played before. been playing 30+ years and never seen a variation where PLAYER TO THE LEFT of dealer has to open with minimum bid. If everyone else passes then DEALER must bid. Its up to the dealer’s partner to “save” the dealer with a bid. Meld bidding is completely wrong. First there is no such thing as a 10 meld bid, except an “aces” opening 51 bid. That is assumed in the bidding that the partner has 10 meld. The meld bids that are given are +1 from the standard. For example the partner goes up 3 for 20 meld, up 4 for 30 meld, etc. (should be up 2 for 20, up 3 for 30...). Partner may have 40,50,60 meld and NOT offer a meld bed because he has no marriage. Hello, its partner’s responsibility to save your meld bid. Sometimes u go board set but that happens. Game does not take leadbacks into consideration. Bidder will void himself of his only A of trump off the bat. HORRIBLE BID AND PLAY STRATEGY. Also a common rule is “bidder goes” ONLY if both teams are over 450 to start the hand the bidding team wins if both end up over 500. Otherwise highest score wins.

This game is terrible the computer will bid crazy amounts on your team when he has nothing all the time needs to be fixed but don’t worry I’m deleting after I write this

Really gets boring,pass,pass,pass.South normally gets very little melt and terrible hands. Seems as though East and West gets bulk of aces. Went four hands with a total team melt of three. Like to play but this is not balanced to hold interest.
