If you are using the Ion Piano Apprentice keyboard, the notes will light up along with Scott’s hands. Follow the lights and begin playing music instantly!
Or, if you want to learn to read notes, select “Sheet Music” from the home screen. Then, you can choose to watch a basic tutorial on reading notes, or just dive right in to the song of your choice. Speed controls are provided for controlling the playback tempo, so you can learn at your own pace.
Of course you can just have fun playing the piano and making up your own melodies by selecting “Piano Jam”.
I really like it its good for learning, i dont like to read long reviews so i think its cool. :{)
The app is good, but it has a problem with the speed I wish I could slow down the tempo or the video so I can play the songs for I just don't get it.
I can't understand all these crybaby reviews. Nothing worth doing is easy thats why you need to practice. Their piano lessons to get you familiar with a piano and songs you're familiar with to get you started its not complicated it just takes the effort to get it.
It is so cool I am learning to play the piano my only complaint is that piano guy goes pretty fast other than that it is great keep adding lessons. =^D
This. Is the best app ever I love it I learn so much and know a lot more then I did and your stupid if you think this app is bad
I give it 3 stars even though it is a great app. The Piano guy is great but needed to slow down the first time through so I could catch the notes. I'm able to follow the lead sheets so that helped. However Greensleeves was missing the lead sheet. Also their should be more songs and tutorials. At least a place where you can buy them cheaply. After paying $90 for the piano I felt I got short changed on the app. Give us a way to get more songs or update the app for new levels and songs. There were only about 4-5 songs!
Fun to find this app to teach a few songs. Took a minute to figure out that it scrolls for more songs. The play along feature is cool, but a short lead-in would be nice, so I can try to play along.
I have this app for a while now. Scott is great with his video instructions. Thank you.
First off, I'm not the programmer of this ap writing my own review, I'm found this ap surfing the iTunes store. I have absolutely no talent for music and little rhythm. And yet I'm playing a couple songs now with the aid of this ap! Really, it demistifies what seems a really complicated thing and makes it doable for someone, like me, who has 10 thumbs. If you are even remotely interested, I recommend getting this ap! I'm 50, I've always wanted to play, and now I am!!!!! Gerry from San Diego, CA
