Switched from Sling to Philo and saved $40. I’m happy with the switch and love the fact that Philo doesn’t charge extra for DVR. The only thing I wish Philo had was local channels like YouTube TV offers. Still happy with my choice though!

i’ve tried the trial version & liked it but removed it before my trial ended cuz i thought i wouldn’t be able to afford it. but i’m giving a second chance cuz i can’t afford my starter cable package w/xfinity anymore. just some ideas i have if you guys ever decide to update your format or whatever: 1.) customize guides - chose what channels you want & hide other channels you don’t want. 2.) add more movie channels, Sundance channel, Paramount tv & IFC are good for movies w/commercials but there’s gotta be more movie channels that have no commercials like Movieplex.

Amazing. T he y don’t have a channel guide. That’s incredible. Search results are so lackluster you can’t find shows that are on there because the search index doesn’t know the difference between a show and a movie.

I couldn’t watch a full movie without it kicking me off line I’m not going to pay for something that didn’t work I did the 7 day trial period and didn’t get a chance to watch anything without it knocking me off not happy with this app

I only signed up because they were the only subscription service to offer law and order criminal intent. And then it’s not available and when it becomes available it will only be after my free trial ends and only one episode at a time. I asked customer support to cancel and he said I could still watch it using my philo account if I downloaded the we tv app and then signed in through philo. So I did that, and criminal intent wasn’t even an option. So I canceled.
