Ever since I did the last update the app keeps crashing I can't even open it. Not happy at all not being able to control all the lights we have.
This app is way too important to have such poor quality control. FIX IT PLEASE, THE APP WONT OPEN
The "update" killed this app!!!!!! Every update causes problems. Never buy another Phillips product again. Total garbage.
Wish I would have read the reviews before I updated. The app will no longer open. It crashes every time.
This hue app is the best one, I have 50 saved scenes and all my settings right and the most recent update makes it crash upon loading.
Newest update causes app to crash every time I open it on iPhone 6+. Luckily 3rd party Hue Apps are still working but it's a pain having to get 3rd party apps when the company who sells the app should always work. The newest app is terrible so I am not happy Hue crashed the current app. Almost think it was on purpose. Lifx is looking better and better.
The app no longer works with the latest update. And no I won't be upgrading Gen 2 anytime soon (tried it and found it lacking).
UPDATE March 10, 2017: DON'T update this app. It will crash immediately and every scene you have ever created will be lost and you're left with 50 bulbs that must be reprogrammed -- and a generation 2 app from philips which is simply awful. I love the generation 1 app when it works, but now it's gone and not supported by philips. I regret going down the Philips Hue path -- even though it is so very promising when it works. Philips used to be a pretty good company, but other competitors will dust them once they gain critical mass on LED bulbs. I have over 40 hue bulbs throughout my home. Originally version one worked Ok, not great. Then version two of the app is released. It's awful. Unusable, actually. Back to version one for me, but Philips has hobbled it with the update forcing you to upgrade to version 2 of the app with every click. I'm going to sell my Hue system ( using the latest HomeKit bridge) and go with another system that has a decent app and interface. Philips, a real disappointment. I love your sonicare toothbrush, though. Stick to dental care and gracefully sell your home automation line to Samsung. Game over.
