Online there's a whole list of websites that they supposedly support for imports and every link I've tried has had an error.

I had high hopes for this app but it only works with certain sites and even then doesn't seem to sync with them using the iPhone. Big disappointment.

Easy to use. Has nice bookmarklet for the computer to get recipes onto the phone. Can share recipes via email. Nice design, easy to use.

i tried to import a recipe from all recipes.com, and this site is listed as one it supports, and it didn’t work. tried tinkering with the address and still no go. tried to assign a category to one of my recipes, and despite clicking the done button, it wouldn’t save my edit

They've really done a lot with this app. It works really well and the service itself is free. Great way to store recipes and plan meals/ grocery lists. My only complaint is that the grocery list can sometimes do some funny things because of how it recognizes ingredients.

Why can't I import a recipe from the app? I don't get that - seems like an easy fix. The recurring items issue that would make the calendar usable is also an issue. It is great that I can pull up a recipe on my phone at the grocery store, email it to friends, etc. - love that part, very handy for inserting my owns notes and variations.

Not perfect, but here's what you get: - automatically add recipes from many on line sites - automatic shopping lists - cooking mode that prevents iPad sleep - easy manual recipe adds from on line sources - good sorting and categorizing abilities If we could more easily share recipe collections (it can be done now, but requires password sharing) it would be near perfect. Thank you pepperplate. Easily ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

All of the recipes I have entered directly into my iPad app would not sync to my other devices. I contacted support and they sent a long list of things to try to solve the problem. After following all directions exactly, I have lost all the recipes entered into my iPad. Only the recipes I entered online on my laptop remain. I am beyond upset as I don't have access to most of those recipes that I lost. What a disaster of an app!

This app COULD be so amazing...but they have not addressed the support and updates that it desperately needs. It should be able to import recipes via a URL link. Unfortunately, every time I attempt to import a recipe from allrecipes.com (supposedly a supported website) or other "supported" websites I receive an Error message. It tells me the issue has been logged in their issue database and they are working on a solution...sadly, the issue is never fixed. Come on PepperPlate...you could be so amazing! :( I have even emailed their support personnel to no avail. No changes, updates or corrections have been made to make this a successful app. Sure, I could sit and manually import each recipe, but I'm a mom with little ones and who has TIME for that anyway!?! Once or twice I wouldn't mind...but for major recipe websites it should not be necessary to manually enter everything in! PepperPlate, you can do better.

I absolutely love this app! I import from sites like Allrecipes.com and often add my own edits. Next time I make a recipe, it's just as good or even better since I've captured the details in the app! I manually added my family recipes too. When someone asks for a recipe, I can easily send it. My recipes go with me wherever I go. It's easy to use and has really handy functionality for a home cook like me. This would be a five star app if it weren't for two things. First, I have not been able to import from Allrecipes for a while and I don't know why. I get errors from my iPad and from my PC when I try. Second, I hate when the screen turns off while I'm making something. I'd love to have the screen stay on, just when using this app.
