Last update was iOS 9. Needs refresh.

The app was last updated over two years ago, it needs updating for compatibility with larger screens.

Um what happened?

This app has basically stopped working. The applet no longer auto imports recipes. Everything has to be manually entered. So I’m left with an admittedly handy database of recipes (the shopping list and planner features are and always were just ok/unwieldy) but not the easy, convenient app it once was.

What happened to the email function?
Elena the nymph

I have loved this app and use it for all my recipes. I would have given it five stars except that the 1/4 , 1/2 and 1/3 etc quick function does not work on my iPhone. Also when I tried to email a recipe there is no way to do it anymore without cutting and pasting from the editing pages. It used to be that I could email a beautifully organized recipe to friends and family. What happened? There doesn’t seem to be an easy way to get support from the designers.

Concept is great

Unfortunately, I was not able to import or even manually add any recipes. Each and every time I tried to import even when I started off with the link on the list of supported sites, it said it was not a supported site. I tried on my iPhone and I tried on my computer with the same results. I have no recipes in my list of recipes. I tried a recipe from allrecipes, I tried a recipe from King Arthur flour, and I tried a recipe from food 52. It said all we’re not supported sites despite the fact that they are listed under supported sites. When I tried to copy and paste from word under manual recipe I managed to get everything in the proper places and when I hit save it just didn’t save.

FALSE ADVERTISING IN APP
Miss Rene'

Websites that the app says are supported ARE NOT. They continue rejecting recipes EVEN THOUGH the app reports they are acceptable. Please fix this issue or remove the websites as supported.

Just doesn’t work.

I see other reviews are older. I can’t sync with my iPad.

Amazing App

I’ve been using PP for 6 months and love it! As a French Culinary Institute graduate, I have used many apps, however only PP has the ease of use, great shopping list feature as well as scaling recipes up. Highly recommend!!!!

Used to be better

I have been using this app for several years and I have LOVED it, until the last several months. I used to be able to add recipes by just sending it to my Pepperplate right from the recipe page. Since the last several IOS updates, I can no longer do this. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing works and the app has not been updated for quit some time. The only way to add recipes from my phone and tablet is to copy and paste. Which I do sometimes, but it is not as quick and easy as it used to be.

Great app with potential

Been using the app for 2 years now. Love how easy it is to flag my favorites and change proportions to decrease or increase a recipe when needed. However the import feature has been problematic off and on. After several attempts at set-up, I have gotten the iOS bookmarklet to work fairly consistently.

Slowing down

I’ve used this app for years. Have 600 recipes on it. Slowly things have stopped working. Cant paste a recipe URL in anymore. It says the website is not supported. Have contacted developers multiple times and they said they are working on it. Can’t import pics of the dish anymore either. They told me to download flash player. Still doesn’t work.
