This is a terrible app now!! I keep waiting for an update. The app used to be OK not great. Now this app is totally horrible. There are too many things wrong with it even begin listing.

Why have you taken a working app and destroyed it.... 1. I have to sign out then sign in to read it otherwise I am locked out. 2. The swipe up to read articles does not work...half the time the pictures don’t load so I am looking at blurry squares that never open 3. The swipe up also loses the ability to see all the pictures so the only time I can see the pictures that quite frankly make the whole magazine is to by pass it and just enlarge everything on my iPad ...it wasn’t broke why fix it. These 3 things are so aggravating that despite being with people from day one I had considered cancelling....I have vision problems so the digital is perfect for me now if it would only quit making me sign out then in to view my magazine I would be so happy...wish I could go back and undo the update that ruined this for me...if I could give it zero stars I would...

This really is the worst app! The “swipe for reader view” covers up the top of the page and I can’t get rid of it. That’s when I can actually get access to the current issues! Since the update I don’t have access! They charged me for 6 months, but I can’t even get the issues! I tried to sign in, but it says it’s the wrong password. When I click “forgot password”, they say they’re going to email me “in a few minutes” with instructions to reset. However, I never receive the email! I just cancelled my subscription. I’m done with them!

My app kept saying “access denied” so I deleted and reloaded it.....welp didn’t fix a thing. Now it won’t even open at all. What’s the point of paying for he digital subscription when I can’t even use it? If I could give it 0 stars I would.

This app is maddening. I have to email customer service every 6-8 weeks because the app “locks” me out and I am unable to download issues. It also locks me out of past issues so I can’t read ANY People magazines that’s I’ve already downloaded. Several times I’ve had to delete the app and then go to the Apple store to download it again. This is supposed to “fix” the problem. However, it hasn’t. I just went to download the latest people magazine, only to find out that I am locked out of every issue that I’ve downloaded. Customer service is not helpful either.

They launched a new version of this app recently and, even though it would seem impossible, it is even worse. You read part of the magazine and when you come back later instead of it being open where you left it (like a Kindle book) it makes you download the magazine issue again (half the time won’t even download) then try and find your place. Isn’t this a basic function of a digital magazine?? Then you try and contact them and it says “sending” for 15 minutes and never goes through. In this digital age where people don’t want to waste paper and want the convenience of reading on a device People better step up their game...
