Loved it till the most recent update. Now, whenever I try to open it I just get a black screen with a white header which reads Documents.
This is the end of your search for a PDF viewer!!

I am not saying only that this is a great PDF viewer. I am saying that I don’t think you will find any other viewer that even comes close to this one!
One of the few truly 5-star apps

This has always been a great app, but a few versions ago it got kind of buggy. I reported the issues, and after an update or two, I’m happy to announce that all the problems have been fixed, and it has returned to being one of the very best apps I have ever owned. Can’t say enough good things about the app or the developer. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️

Some apps have many annotation tools but poor file management. Others are good file managers but not for annotation. This app is the best combination. The automatic file sync with destination along with facility to extract makes it a great app.

The only thing missing for me is a Merge function. I would love to see it as an extra feature alongside the option to create new pages in a pdf.
More effective than PDF Expert

The two main features that are a boon to my productivity are: [1] the app opens right to the iCloud drive selection screen, and [2] highlighting, shape drawing, and pen drawing tools are all accessible 1 tap away from each other. Both of these are the most important features to me and allow me to be more productive than using PDF Expert (that is not to say that isn't an amazing app as well, only that PDF Viewer suits my use case much better which is scientific/academic where I just want to read, highlight, and annotate papers and PDF images quickly).
Broken Updates - Don’t update if you read this review

After update, the app is not usable at all. constantly refresh to delete my ink...Please fix it and test more thoroughly before releasing a new version. Thanks for this awesome app. But this update is really annoying!

I just cannot believe this app is even free. It has iCloud integration, all the mark-up tools that I want, and can view two pages side by side. It checks all the boxes and is by far the best!
Very nice, when not buggy

About 90% of the time, this app works great. The other 10, when viewing multiple documents, they don't change with the tabs. It stays on whichever document was loaded first. Granted its a free app, but can still be annoying.
