This is a great app! I wish it would adapt to when I usually clock in and out so that I could just press submit instead of having to change “clock in” or “clock out” when I’m trying to do either.

This app is very pretty to look at, but very user unfriendly for actually seeing work related data. Just browsing my upcoming PTO requests is a chore. It would be great if Paylocity started favoring function over form.

I have a lot of problems with the app. It doesn’t allow me to change my emergency contacts. It makes me change my password every 90 days, which is a real inconvenience. It doesn’t take my employee ID number ect.
They refuse to fix a security issue

Since 2018 I’ve been reporting a security issue to Paylocity support which they refuse to address. When you invoke the app switcher, sensitive/personal continues to be display rather then being masked for blurred out. Even days later! The time out doesn’t work until you open the app again. This is a standard feature of every app that involves finances and personal information. Paylocity still won’t implement this simple feature. Their support team refers me to my companies HR team. What? Oh course no one in my company can fix a third party app. Even our CISO has been involved and nope, Paylocity does nothing. It amazes me year after year when something so simple yet important continues to get ignored.
Have to log in with my credentials manually to frequent

This week I had to input all of my log in credentials at the start of each day. Even though I opted to use “stay logged in” feature. This feature is not consistent. Having to log in and find my company I’d and password really slows down the process to clock in.

You have to log in every time when you open there no reason to do that it’s not user friendly . It force to change the password. This is not a bank account.
Difficult to change direct deposits

If I want to reduce money deposited in 1 institution and increase in a second, it goes pending after the 1st adjustment and doesn’t allow me to adjust the second.

Pros , schedule at my fingertips, being able to see my check early, knowing who coming etc Con- It is down a lot which is frustrating, it keeps signing me out .
