Calming

CalifDude

Beautifully simple app, and that's the point. Provides a valuable relaxing moment of pause during busy days. Cool visuals and relaxing music.

Great, but there could be some better things.

I love this app, but I think there should be a mode where you can move faster just for fun, for people who like fast-moving things instead of slow, and also I think that there should be an option to choose the color you want, because my anxiety was triggered by one of the colors yesterday. It would be really fun to choose your own color, that way there would be no triggers by color, since this app is designed to relieve stress and anxiety, not cause it.

Go On

Ive got bipolar disorder and this app is INCREDIBLY wonderful in calming me down. It centres me and I swear I can feel my mind literally relax (both physically and psychologically).

Beware if you have a trypophobia

I'm unconsciously uncomfortable with seeing the dot

Not quite worth the cost

This app very basic, and there could be some features added to give it more value. For example, I wish there was a setting that could keep the dot from growing into a giant blob that fills the entire screen. I wish there were variations in colors or music. The current version doesn't quite hit the nail on the head as far a relaxing experience for me, although it seems to have someone worth developing.

Lovely App

AsherJames

Really a lovely app. It does exactly what it says it does; and while I confess I was a little skeptical about the utility of it, the simplicity is a selling point for me. Easy to use; easy to explain to someone else--doesn't really require explanation, with the text on. There's an effective level of customizability as far as duration, etc., without that turning into a distraction. This is something I feel great about using with myself and my therapy clients.

My New Cigarette Break!

PSP_Nikita

I am a very busy person. There are not enough minutes in the day. I have been smoking cigarettes regretfully because until now, I have never found as short of a break as a cigarette gives. Seven minutes. I can't watch a show, cook a snack, catch up on social media, read up on political issues, call my mom--ANYTHING in just seven minutes. It's been a great excuse to smoke cigarettes and still feel like a well rounded person. Pause is exactly what I needed. Something that would help me take healthy breaks in between all the running around I do. On behalf of everyone who loves me, thank you for helping kill a bad habit. My undying gratitude to you and your team. ❤️

Good Start, Incomplete Programming

Bozocity

The nay-sayers do not understand this potentially brilliant, but flawed-and-fixable, program. The software at once encourages the user to watch the blob and close his eyes. This is a common error in programming: being unable to create an interface that is not visual. The static, annoying sound track needs to be swapped with an aural interface. Pause might, for example, be made to play a gently pulsing drone when the pace of moving the finger is correct, but that raises in pitch and turns somewhat grating when the finger moves too fast, and glissandos down to a slower, lower throb when the finger moves too slowly.

Glad I got it for free

Grimmycakes

Got this when it was going free for a short period. I'm glad I did not have to pay for this. I was constantly on the fence about whether or not I'd like it and enjoy it. Now I can safely say it's not for me. The sound is kinda relaxing. But the actual interaction is not something I really find nice. It forces you to be slow with your finger which CAN help you relax. But for me it does not do well in that regard. It does relax me some. But hardly. More importantly though, I don't find that this truly leaves me feeling refreshed even after trying a 10 minute session of this. In short I can safely say this app isn't worth the price it asks. Nor is the interaction it offers very nice. It's a good start. But far from an app that I can honestly say is worth the money. Right now I'd say it's best as a free app or $0.99 usd tops.

Stupid app

Farwater

Nothing interesting just move your finger on the screen and it's all really it's all. Nothing more.
