Good idea, needs work

Adm.Cannon

I love the concept of this game, downloaded it over a year ago. The content was not as good as it looked, so I deleted. A year later I try again hoping they worked some bugs out, but I feel it is even worse. Fails to activate cards and powers on a regular, often needing to reboot...but when cards go missing it looses my already dwindling interest. Beautiful rendering of The card game, and a great thought, but needs great programming to go with it.

Offline Fatally Flawed

Playing offline allows you to gain hundreds of cards in your "stash" (sidebar). I've hit a point where the stash is so big that it always crashes the game post-adventure and denies progress. Online mode supposedly forces you to remove excess stash cards, but I cannot reach that menu before crashing.

Best game ever!!!

I love this game sooo much! It’s the most addicting/fun game in the history of addicting/fun games!!!!!!!!!!!!! FIVE STARS!!!!! I love this game more than pizza. There are no problems, and no glitches!!!!!!!!! If I could rate it ten star… I would rate it twenty!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ?????????????????????????

Pay to play

Cintim

A friend encouraged me to try the game and I enjoyed it for about a day. Then I found out that you have to purchase every character with real money (except the first two). This apparently is a recent change, whereas earlier versions allowed some content to be accessed via in-game currency. Poor choice by the Devs: all or nothing. This might work for fans of the game, but for someone who is exploring and getting to know the game, this rude, cold, shut-the-door-in-your-face attitude makes me the opposite of a fan. Interesting that many, many online games these days use expert psychology to draw in new players and get them hooked on the game so they are more likely to pay. These devs must have missed that memo.

iPhone X support

Corax101

Just picked up the game, getting great vibes and looking forward to putting more hours into the game. Only gripe I really have with the game so far is iPhone X support. Would love to see the game take advantage of the larger screens given the amount of information shown on screen. Keep up the great work otherwise and recommend the game to anyone that enjoys rpg’s

Buggy game and forced tutorial

Eyedontwantone

You cannot skip the awful tutorial. You may have played pathfinder before, but they won't let you skip the tutorial. The tutorial is also bad. The game is buggy too, crashes randomly, especially on older hardware (iPad 2 crashes if I try to run more than 2 characters. Runs fine on an iPhone 7). The bugs range from game breaking to have to force close the app and restart it because it get stuck. Certain rolls are also messed up and not implimented properly, especially on monsters with multiple rolls required. Many of the scenarios are have absurd requirements and require specific party compositions if you have any hope of winning. The "story" is a joke. Inventory management is a mess. It stacks the deck against you in later scenarios. Text on cards is nigh unreadable on phones because it's so small. Wasted opportunity on good IP. Do anything except play this game.

Great game but purchase isn’t yet honored.

tigeju01

Loved the game but made a purchase of the whole rise of the runelords package for $14.99. The purchase has gone through in my bank account, but nothing has been unlocked in the game itself that I can see. I would either like my purchase refunded or the content to be there already. Would love to hear back on this.

Big fan but a couple of comments

cadetRick

This games help me get my old school d&d fix. I play the game a few times a week. I would play more if the challenges reset after being completed but you have to wait for the challenges to expire. Looking forward to releasing some new characters. I like the fact that I can start and stop the game at any point.

Like the tabletop version LOVE the app!

GuardianShepherd

I have been playing the tabletop version of Pathfinder Adventure The Card Game for years and I own most of the expansions for it as well. That being said, the app is so much more fun! Aside from the major plus of zero setup and cleanup time, the app even incorporates the story of the Rise of the Runelords into the gameplay on the form of small cutscenes which really help immerse the player in the game world. I really hope the debts continue to grow their game world with The Skull & Shackle adventure eventually!

Problem solved

MidwestHero

Update2/4/18: The game has been fixed on my end. The problem was equal parts user error and the game being glitchy. However, I can now play the game and all of my purchased content is working. I would recommend this game to anyone who wants a challenge and likes card games 2/2/18: When this game worked it was easily a 4 Star game. As of writing this I can not connect to the game servers or the in game store or any of the content I purchased with my real money. I have tried multiple times to get in contact with the tech support for this game with no response I return. I hope in the future I can leave a more positive review in the future, but I am truly disappointed that I can’t play this game, and the developers don’t seem to care...
