Terrible new app, looks like they will discontinue FP

The new app seems to be designed for the Parrot Pot only. Flower Power has silently disappeared from their website. If you have multiple plants per sensor, they simply delete them all except for one. Say goodbye to years of history. Absolutely terrible update, non-existent communications with existing customers (they won't even answer posts on their support website). Boooo!

Let's just go back to the old app. I know that's not always popular, but let's face it this update was long awaited and a total flop. You totally ruined the functionality of the device. Now I'm stuck with hundreds of dollars of electronic crap. If I could give a negative number I would call this app a -5 or -6.

I don't know where to start. I have been around and around with this company. Let me make it very short, run run run away from anything Parrot branded. Flower Powers are now a legacy product that will not be supported. They want you to purchase a Flower Pot at $150. No chance in hell i'm giving this company more money.

The new app takes away the ability to monitor multiple plants at once with a single device. It's also a poorly designed, unintuitive UI. If you were using a previous version of the app you will lose all the data for plants that were being monitored by a single device. Don't upgrade. Don't buy a flower power, they've been dropped in favor of their new smart flower pot.

Since the update software came out I have never been able to use my sensor that was working perfectly before they updated the software. They say my sensor is now defective it since it was a gift they failed to replace it. Crappy software support horrible customer service. I would avoid this company.
This thing drinks batteries!

A battery used to last for months upon months. Now, I get a week or two max. When the battery lasted it was a great app and device. It has really helped my palms and other plants. But now it seems like it's constantly connected or something and draining batteries. In its currently thirsty state I can't continue to feed it batteries.

I haven't had any of the problems the other reviewers mentioned. This update was a great user interface overhaul, and has also been much more reliable as well. I'm using it on a new house plant that I wasn't quite sure how to take care of, and this made it really easy! My plant wasn't getting enough sun, it needed fertilizer, and I was over watering. Flower power saved it's life!

This app is WONDERFUL for monitoring & caring for both my indoor & outdoor plants! I have never been able to figure out what my plants needed to flourish, but using this app in combination with the flower power device I have had nothing but success. Flower power has allowed me to grow some of the most beautiful orchids inside my home. I DO wish the app would sync to the devices continuously in the background so that it would update me & alert me to unfavorable conditions MUCH more frequently.
