Update wiped out my graphs

nataylor

This update wiped out my all my local graphs. All the historic data I had is gone in the app. I can still access it from the web site, but from the app it's like I'm starting fresh. That's a big bummer.

Update ruined app

AD20072007

I have ten flower power units. The latest date erased all my graph data and I cannot collect new data (it says upload error). So much for my flower power adventure, not worth the hassle

Great little app

I had no troubles setting it up and having it collect data and seeing live feed. (For those of you only seeing live data add the monitor to your plant). It's perfect for the new roses I just planted last week, saves me the trouble of wondering all day if they are in the right spot for sun /shade/water. Love it.

Promising

Sir Smith

The idea for the app and device are amazing but the reality is less than that. The app constantly has problems syncing with the device and rarely will update data at all even being right next to it. Lately inputed plant information has been disappearing as well. This device is promising but the developers have some work to do. I'd holdout until they work the bugs out.

Good but does not have fishtail palm in database

Quickcustomer

It's very informative but lacking some of the more common plants/trees sold in stores in the plant database, which doesn't make much sense considering the database contains 20+ variations of the same species. Please add fishtail palm to database.

Amazing!

After decades of killing houseplants, I'm finally keeping one alive!

Such a useful device

I have almost a dozen Parrot Flower Power's between the ones on my house plants and my vegetable garden. It's not as simple as when to water your plant. I had a house plant that was near death, and I kept making sure to water it. Once I started using Flower Power, it told me to water it less and move it to a place with more light. And now it's doing great. The plant database is incredible and so helpful. I love that the app lets you chronicle your plants development with pictures of their growth. My reminders so far that seem helpful in my vegetable garden have been to water my tomatoes a lot, and it would seem that peppers need a lot of fertilizer. I've read complaints that the alerts don't tell you what kinds of fertilizer to use, but the plant database does. So if it alerts you to needing more fertilizer, then just click on your plant and read what fertilizer it needs. I do feel like this is a huge missed opportunity however. I would love to be able to order more fertilizer right through the app as an example. With their huge plant database, I would love to be able to order seeds for different plant varieties. It's so helped me in such a simple way, go from killing plants to full on helping them thrive. Now I'm able to have a vegetable garden as a result. Somehow that simplicity leaves me wanting more. Imagine a pop up notification. We have detected your plant is low on fertilizer. Click here to order x amount of powdered fertilizer suited perfectly for your plant. And 3 days later it's at my house. Love this device. Love the app.

Please Add Bonsai houseplant in DB

Great device! Wish the app though followed an interface closer to what "Up" by Jawbone uses. It's a little unclear with the live graphs and numbering system for the daylight portion for us causal urban apartment dwellers. Great start, love the design of the product itself. -Jordan

I am not convinced

dg007chat

It thought it wouldn’t ask me to water when sky was falling rain for two long days. It doesn’t adjust the need of watering to soil humidity needed by rose and glycine ?

Needs fixes for iPhone 6

pumilamac

Buggy with iPhone 6, worked fine with iPhone 5 and 5s in iOS 7. Synchronizing with 2 different flower power units does not work reliably. Data that does update is a half day behind.
