Yes, but nah

The tools that come with purchasing Pro are absolutely wonderful. For some, it is surely worth $8.99 a month; for me, someone who draws a few times a week, it is surely not worth $8.99 a month.

Excellent for quick scribbles!

Rooftoplounge

I use it for jotting down quick sketches and measurements that I use later to then create parts and products in cad. Quick Simple Straight to the point It does the job without having to deal with layers, thousands of brushes, etc. Very happy they brought back the customizable journal covers, they definitely lost me when they pulled that out from under our feet. Keep up the good work!

Bad update

nilrea

I have had this app since the launch of the access to the pro options/tools. Since the new update the access now is not possible even though I use them for a long time.

Why I gave this app a one is, because you shouldn’t have to pay for paper pro just to use everything. Other than that it’s a great app.

Greed ruined this App!

Jamelyn

Greed Ruins EVERYTHING! I previously bought this app, paid for all the extra tools and pallets and bought their stylus. I liked it so much I bought like 3 of their “pencil” styli for $40-$50 each and gave them to family as presents. Then this company’s greed RUINED EVERYTHING! I stopped using this app when the company switched over to subscription pricing. I ALREADY PAID for all your features, fair and square, NOW THE UPDATE MADE THE APP I PAID FOR USELESS. That’s ROBBERY!! For a far better drawing app, just purchase Procreate! Procreate has far better tools. That company hasn’t kept trying to put their hand in my pocket to keep paying for something I already paid them for. My old review: The real price of this app is $7.99. That's what it costs to get all 5 drawing tools. Once you do that, it's pretty easy to learn to use it. In the basic version, you are limited to a simple palette, which is unfortunate but not a show stopper. Also, they are not true primary colors (but are closer to tertiary colors) so your options in blending using the paint brush or other tools are not as good as they could be. If you choose to buy only one tool (they are $1.99 each) then buy the paint brush to use with the pen. Also, you can't zoom or out, can't cut and paste or import, but you can export or share your work. But it's still fun to play with, so I'm giving it a high rating. Overall it's nice and simple, much easier to learn than Sketchbook Pro or Procreate, but not anywhere close to as versatile as those programs either. The kids mastered it right away-it's saving actual "paper" and messes. Hope there will be other pallets and options in future updates.

Fine but not for the price

rabbitfeed

I paid for this before I found autodesk sketchbook which has way more and better features but is free. The subscription makes this so expensive. You can’t customize page size or dimensions and I don’t like that the pages are off-white, so when I add a sketch to another page in another app, the paper shows up in an odd contrast.

YESSS!

My mom and dad say that we can only use it for a short time. Mommy’s opinion: our son loves this app.
