Already paid, now asked to subscribe, crashes ipad

I was an early adopter of Paper. I paid the $ to unlock everything way back when. I really feel like the practice of changing the monetizing method should be illegal or at very least not allowed by Apple... app developers should create a new app so those of us who already paid can still access the software we purchased. I know it’s a tricky issue and I do want to support developers. Problem is that when I buy something, I feel like it should be mine forever unless there’s a clearly stated time limit. Otherwise I can spend $ today and lose access tomorrow... that’s definitely not right. This trend of moving everything to subscription is turning me off to spending $ on apps in general. Seems extremely unwise to pay for something without any guarantee that it will remain accessible as purchased. In addition to the previously stated issues, this app is now causing my iPad Pro to crash completely - as in turn completely off despite being plugged in and charged. It is an old model, but similar apps do not cause this much crashing. Not all of us can afford to buy new devices every few years, but it seems clearer than ever that developers just don’t care about making stable apps with fair pricing.

I bought two of the 53 pencils brand new and used this app made for it. Now they took away features that were built in and charge you monthly, should of never bought them

With Paper you can support saving the trees, Have multiple notebooks for various needs and find/create notes and drawings quickly. Changing your cover is quick and easy so you will never have to get bored of a color or image on the front of your notebook. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Draw, type, write with your apple pencil, use their various paper template options to create a schedule, journal, graph…. There are endless possibilities with the free version.

when using the pencil tool you can only use a apple pen to blend. this annoys me because I have a very good stylus but it doesn’t work the same way as a apple pen. beside that it is one of the best drawing app i’ve ever used. very good!

Kudos to Heather and her team of engineers and programmers for providing first rate support whenever I’ve had a problem. They are prompt and follow up to resolve my problems. Love the app too. Fun to use. One wish. I wish they would add at least one layer I can turn on and off where I can place my light pencil sketch and a second layer for the final drawing. That, or an eraser that only erases one color like I can with a real eraser and light pencil lines. Allen
