HOW TO CANCEL THIS SUBSCRIPTION?!

CJagger

No one replies to emails-cannot locate “cancel” on app or in menu. I do NOT want another penny paid for this app and no one will respond to tell me how to stop it. Anyone else have this issue?

PAINNT apps

jimbostorres

One of the best apps in expressing my humble art & always my first option to innovate any image, but sadly, my account was locked this week. Please check your records, my subscription still upto January 2020. I would appreciate it if you could restore my PAINNT asap. Thank you. Please restore my subscription is upto January 14, 2020! I don’t want a refund, just restore it. Your sole is annoying, shame on you!!!!

Painnt to your hearts content

Just got this App yesterday, and I am having a blast using it! So many great features, easy to use, and you can create some great images and effects. Love it!

One of the best painterly filters Apps

EricFro

Painnt has a large number of filters to transform what may be a very ordinary photo of yours into a work of art. You can play with the settings of each filter to tweak it to your liking. Or you can take it even further and create your own filter by using your own photo as a source for the colors and texture of the paint strokes to be applied to your other photos. The resolution of the output can be adjusted for creating low resolution online images or higher for poster size prints. There is also an online Painnt community forum where you can see others users images and learn which of the filters they used. I have used other painter like filter apps. Prisma was the first of these type of apps and was ranked as the App of the Year but when Painnt came out it was it was no longer the best. Both have both since seen improvements but can be a little buggy since they are dependent on remote servers and an internet connection to process your images. I wish I could use the app without the dependency of an internet connection. It processes the images pretty quickly when you are connected and you can help speed the process up by choosing a lower resolution setting to Puget an idea how the filter looks before processing image at a higher resolution including the original dpi of the image. Overall a great App!

NO TECH SUPPORT!!!!

I bought the year subscription so that I could use a locked design. Problem is, I CAN’T FIND IT WITHOUT SEARCHING BECAUSE YOU DON’T LIST ANYTHING IN ALPHABETICAL ORDER. So, I search. I tap the design I want. Instead of letting me pick a picture to filter from there, it instead gives me a popup that says “you’re already unlocked”. Ummm... excuse me? I didn’t tap the upper right corner to unlock, I tapped a filter thumbnail. But noooo, this can’t actually be functional and organized! Nope. So I guess I can’t use it unless I somehow manage to find a needle in a haystack by searching EVERY thumbnail out of 500 filters that aren’t listed in alphabetical order, or any kind of order that could make sense. They’re not even numbered. So basically, because of a glitch AND poor app organization, I can’t even use the filter I PAID TO USE! I try to press the Technical Support link in the listing here in the apple store— forwards me to the community collection of other people’s pictures! I don’t want other people’s pictures, I WANT YOU TO FIX YOUR APP!

A little problem,

BlossomBloom40

Hello, I love this app and I think it is pretty Cool but, when I choose a effect and try to click on the picture I want from my collection, it does nothing. I don’t really know why but I kind of want it fixed because I want my photos to look cool, but nothing happens. I’m very confused. If you could help me that would be great! ?

Never worked. Crashes

Want value

I would have loved this app...if it ever worked a single time without crashing. You apply the filter and it gets stuck in processing. Complete waste of time.

Desperately Needs Work

Ladylonglocks

11.10.18 The app has been updated. It's even worse now, the crashes are so constant I can't even use it long enough to find the "improvements." __________________ Previously: This app should be the toast of the App Store but it is instead a pretty big failure. Not only hasn't it been updated for almost a year, it has several issues that need fixing badly, and yet despite all this the developers have absolutely no qualms about taking your money to enable features that are completely nonfunctional. If you plan to upgrade to achieve higher resolution output, do NOT do it. The app, even when adjusted to the highest memory setting, can't handle full resolution images ever, nor 4K images most of the time. After you wait a very long time for your image to render (a trade off I'd be happily willing to make for a successful hi-res outcome) the app WILL crash and you WILL lose both your work AND all the time you invested. Once you become a paid subscriber you will also learn that you have to wait hours for the algorithm to learn your own custom filters, and you can only create one at a time unless you want to pay even more money on top of the subscription price. You will also routinely deal with the rendering process getting stuck until you change parameters to kick it back to life, even with lower res images. And don't for a minute believe that rendering at lower resolution will consistently resolve the crashing problem. It won't. Until the developers put in the work to fix Painnt's serious flaws, stick with the basic version and treat it like the toy it is rather than something meant for actual art. It has a very long way to go before it qualifies as anything remotely useable by serious artists. Whatever you do, don't give developers money when they have clearly demonstrated that they have no interest in investing anything at all into the app for which you are paying. The features in the free version of this app are the only functions that work, and they barely do.

Awesome app

Thank you ! Thank you !

Fun but buggy

digitaldima

This is a crash-prone alternative to PRISMA. On the plus side there are tons of filters, features and settings. The down side - and it's a big one - is that the app often times simply hangs while trying to render if not flat out crashes on you. A note to the developers... Much potential here but if you're going to charge people a monthly subscription fee, I would suggest you iron out the kinks and exterminate the bugs. The render engine that you utilize is super slow.
