Horrible app

Vicpenrn

I have purchased the eCard twice. I still can’t get it to work correctly. I have to contact customer service to reset my password every time I need to use the app! Please fix all these issues. If a customer is paying for an eCard they expect to have access to it!

Disappointing

There are many apps that one can download and many that can be purchased but this one is one that should be setting the standard for all. PADI should be ashamed at this app and it’s poor performance and design. If the first word in your business is professional then that should apply to all aspects of your business. This is far from a professional company’s app. As an organization you need to get your stuff together and make this the premier app for divers. What kind of impression do you think you create for new divers or those we are trying to introduce to the magical world of diving? As much as people know and respect PADI they also expect the app that bares the name to be a world class easy to use (anywhere, anytime) with or without internet access.

Bug in eCard section

Tillybaler06

Attempting to download my eCard as a first time certified diver. Whenever I navigate to ecard section, it shows the activity indicator then crashes. Did you unwrap your optionals? ;)

I have no idea what this app is for

There are lots of buttons in the app but many take you to a web page with “page not found”. The app keeps telling me to log in to scuba earth, which I do, but I still can’t see the dive log. They are clearly promoting ScubaEarth but when I go there my newsfeed only has things older than 1,000 days. Other than finding PADI affiliated stores I’m not sure what the purpose is. I downloaded this app so I could get my e-card trial which has long since expired but the app will still show it to me. But shops will accept a picture of the card which is also on the same phone so I’m hard pressed to recommend this app for that purpose either — PADI wants $40 for the ecard. Instead of this app I recommend you download Subsurface-mobile for dive logging and then sign up to scubaboard.com for the social aspect.

Seems abandoned

RacoonGuide

According to their website the best way to get an eCard was to download the app. So difficult to navigate plus dead ends to error pages. I finally got into re-ordering a card but not what I needed. Can't find eCard application. They bit off a lot with all they structured to offer. Maybe it was too much to complete.

Better off with no app at all

Drftghbd

This is the most frustrating app I think I have ever tried to use. Crashes constantly! PADI should do themselves a service and pull this app from the App Store!! Does anyone at PADI test this before it goes out to market?

Barely Functional

Mundingus Lemony C

Lots of 404 errors, login issues, and referrals to dead links or pages. The dive map is a 50-50 shot as far as dive site accuracy.

Terrible, awful, frustrating

Two4tennis

I'd love to be able to log dives digitally and was excited to see this. However, it made me create a ScubaEarth account (an app that says it has been deactivated) then, when I did that (using a secondary email as it would not let me use my primary for some reason) and I tried to log in it told me invalid account/password. Tried to get help and it said that function didn't work. This is a total joke. Must be the worst app I've ever used!

Needs updates

Most of the features give an error message.

Completely useless
