Designer should be ashamed. App and course design is very poor and full of bugs.
I don’t usually write reviews good or bad, but this one is so bad, I could scream. Spent half the morning resetting my password 9 times just to keep getting log in errors. Finally got in twice and then you have to resented all your address info each time. It has some random address and number in there. Well I do that let and hit continue and it just keeps going back to that page!! Garbage. I will be calling visa and canceling this payment for fraud.
I passed all my knowledge review questions for AOW and then didn’t get any email confirmation back. E-learning website always shows I didn’t finish them even if I submitted them again and again. My instructor and I are both stuck on certifying my AOW because of this technical issue PADI has. The e-learning system is crappy and not reliable. If you have contingency on getting certified don’t use e-learning.
I saw all of the awful reviews but thought, how bad could it really be?....BAD!!! Constant error messages; I can’t even log in!!! I had to transfer my e-learning to the computer-based version because I was not willing to risk wasting anymore time and energy on this app! For such a huge organization and for all of the awesome benefits good apps could provide, I am totally SHOCKED that they can’t do better than the useless apps they have!!! What a shame!
I am not one to normally write a review but this is just garbage. I have now spent 4 hours just trying to access the materials. Hard to believe this was released without more quality control. Run screaming....
I paid a large sum for a PADI online course, and the app won’t let me log in despite multiple attempts on various days. So while traveling, I have only been able to use it when I’ve had WiFi, which is seldom. A total waste.
If you need an eLearning, go for the Online (web browser) version!!! - Very bad app development (bugs, crashes, etc.) - „Offline“ is a lie (no part of the course will work offline) - Simply the course book in a weird badly scaled frame - Not interactive (you can‘t test your knowledge) - Unclear how the exam will start - Unclear which parts of the exam/course are mandatory *This review is mainly for the eLearning functionality of the PADI courses*
I am an avid smart phone user, I incorrectly assumed that this app would be better because of the ability to use it and learn on the go. I expected it to be like all the other apps I’ve downloaded, maybe a glitch here and there. On this app, I struggle to scroll down just about every 2 minutes. I am kicking myself for not opting for the computer version. I don’t understand how PADI would release something that is so incredibly horrible. This is my first review I’ve ever left for an app, I hope someone sees this and fixes it!!
