I use this dictionary almost everyday. It is very well put together.

Great dictionary

The best

Larry Apple

The best, most authoritative dictionary I know. I use it everyday.

Simply indispensable. Period.

iPepys

Great range. Clear definitions. Audible pronunciations. Plus other useful features. And, of course, all "real English".

Shakespeare's Treasure

CosmoPolymath

The breadth and depth of this dictionary is truly essential for any serious reader, writer or language enthusiast. It is also a window into the history of the English language.

Love it! But missing one thing

kirene1

Great app! I use it all the time. But where's the simple "back" or "forward" arrows on each page I'm on? Would love to have a simpler way to navigate back & forward to the words I've looked up. The "recents" feature is too cumbersome for doing this. So keep the recents feature, but also add the arrows on every word page users are on!

Feeling Cents-less

Hhilde

Dim witted me bought this app. One would think I were rich or something. It serves it's purpose but I don't find anything I can't get for free or perhaps $2.99 with another app. I clearly wasn't thinking as far as I can tell.

I've been using this extensive and comprehensive dictionary for three years almost daily, and it has granted me apt and illuminating insights into the English language. You will not find a more profound and helpful dictionary.

Not playing any sounds!

rekkss

This is a very expensive app, and it's not playing any sounds for any of the words when I click on the speaker icon. I thought it was maybe my phone at first, but another dictionary app I have is playing sounds alright. Please fix this ASAP. Also, it would be nice if you made the dictionary the primary resource for looking up words when opening up the app, and not the thesaurus.
