Growing up with DDS one never thought such a resource named Overdrive could could deliver titles, subjects, with a click on a pad or phone. Underrated and as vital as DDS was in its day. Grateful

I appreciate that it is a free app to listen to audio books but it randomly stops for no reason. Is this a bug or a system feature?

How about adding the capability to filter out audiobooks, videos, etc,. When browsing for something to read, having over half the titles be something you have absolutely no interest in is extremely annoying, especially when you have to first get by the graphic then search for whether it is text or audio. You have filtering capability so it doesn’t seem that much to ask.

I don’t know what took me so long to even find this app, but I’m very glad I did. I just downloaded it last night and already have read 3 books, well I listened to them while someone else read (audiobook), but still. It’s super easy! I can do things around the house or even play a game, all while listening to great books, all which you can find in the library, so your options are literally endless. Enjoy!!!!!!

Mostly easy to use

This app has been great at helping me listen to things on the go! It’s fairly easy to use but there are a few things I can’t figure out that make it a little glitchy. Sometimes an audiobook will download all by itself other times it’s like pulling teeth to get it to download. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get to the screen where it has all my checked out books, but I close out of the app entirely and then reopen it to get there. I’ll keep using it cause I’m scrappy like that and feel that opposition builds character.

Pending holds on my account problem

I placed an ebook on hold, and my Overdrive app account shows I’m 1 of 1 with a wait time of two weeks. It has been at this status for four weeks now. I called Phoenix Public Library and was told that someone could have suspended their hold, which for some reason delays me from being able to check it out? Also told that they show four holds pending, not just the one I see on my account. I did not pend this hold. They said to contact you. Would appreciate a reply. Thank you.

Great when it works

Simple and efficient user interface for audio books. However, many times out of the blue it just stops working and freezes. Every app selection, like pause or play, takes 10 sec to process and the time elapsed bar stops moving, then it freezes and bots you out of the app.

I love the app, but when I try to borrow books I have been recently getting error and I can’t get them. I don’t know if it’s my phone or the app, but it’s getting annoying.

I’ve used it for years. Love the ease, ability to link to my library. I heard it’s going away for Libby. I used Libby for a week and couldn’t stand it. The internet reliance, the lack of 15 second buttons and not clear interface was frustrating. Please keep updating overdrive.
