Slowly worsening...

SFman2011

1) Was pretty awesome until 1 year ago, many many better SF restaurants left OT, they tell me that the fees to them by OT getting more & more over time, more aggressive & this BAD. 2) Redeeming "free discounts" getting harder & harder for us users. Everyone uses smartphone to book & buy things when out & on the go, OT says we should now buy a laptop or massive desk computer to JUST "redeem" our earned $25, $50 or $100. off discount coupon...COME ON! Sounds like a scam or fraud or deal. We make THEM BIG $$$$$ & they don't easily give us OUR tiny $$ ? Double standard & unilateral & greedy businesses usually fail...look at troubled nasty Uber & Lyft & now bankrupt Toys R Us. Max to them, min to the valued & needed customer. Something's going WRONG & BAD @ OT. FYI.

Great easy app

We love knowing we won’t have to wait! Easy to use!

Password Reset is a Joke

Dfc6h

I’ve tried to reset my password several times. Logged in through the app and site. No dice. Awful.

No longer allows 1 person reservations

Jenchristo

This app is no longer useful to me. I travel to NYC every week for work and they no longer accept a reservation for one person. Every single restaurant I’ve eaten at in the past used to allow this except for maybe a couple, but now none of them allow it. I think that’s a crappy thing to do to customers that have been using this app for awhile.

Happy cafe

Awesome possim

Great food + top of the line service

Removed the “add to calendar” option

Slithy Toves

This baffles me. Going out to a restaurant, there are a few things that are important - which restaurant, the address, the day, and the time. In the past, there was a button to hit that would put all of this information in my calendar. I wouldn’t even call it a feature, as it’s the most obvious thing in the world. Think of it like assuming that a calculator app has a plus sign button. If it lacks that plus sign button, you know the developer made a serious error. Guess what, the OpenTable people have decided that everyone can copy all that data in by hand. All the people complaining here and on Twitter are just ignored. Nice improvement there, guys.

Dissapointed

Hawaiidream

Been using opentable website and app for years with few complaints. The recent changes to both strips away custom searches rendering them useless. This is no longer my go to app

Convenient but not as good as it once was

Dave n Dallas

It’s good to search for restaurants and to check availability but it’s horrible for redeeming points. They make it difficult

Great App

Use the app a lot and have for the most part always been happy. Have never had instance where I reserved through OT and the restaurant not had my reservation. Wish more restaurants would participate.

So convenient

Enna35

The best way to assure a table. I love this service.
