Doesn’t work

EricaEB060684

I tried to download but it wouldn’t work

If you’re addicted to social media, read this

estacjs

get the app, go to the shortcut block option in the settings, block EVERY app you want to avoid using and then start a session that you cannot cancel. Voila. If you’re really struggling with social media addiction this is the best app I could personally find. It’s expensive for the yearly membership but what’s a mere 60$ for more focused days and 2xs the productivity? Please try the free trial and atleast test out my setup, I feel like the app will speak for itself at that point. BUT… you must be disciplined with this, like all things in life. If u really want to make the change, this app will help you start to get control over your phone usage.

Don’t understand how it’s supposed to work

mmhal

I was sure I was using it wrong but there’s not much instructions in the app. Troubleshooting did not help. When I had the VPN “always on” but not scheduled to block connections, it still slowed everything and stopped me from doing anything (including things in the app itself). Wish it could’ve given me what I wanted. The lack of privacy is also worrying

Works great

ppppssss2021

Only app that has been able to block Facebook.

Buggy

rebe90

I downloaded the trial and did not get a notification that I was being billed for the $59.99. After I realized it went through I tried to make the best of it. The schedule randomly starts, stops, or doesn’t run at all. I can’t pause or continue a session lot of times. Sometimes the buttons appear but don’t do anything when I click on them. Got a response from customer support and tried all their trouble shooting but it didn’t fix anything. Now I can’t get a response from them. I also asked for a refund but again, have not received a response.

Necessity

Trapezius Queen

I know you also have that huge exam that you waited to the last minute to study for. Do yourself a favor and get this app. Saved me from bombing anatomy

Works well but looks like a kids game

ArmyRunnner04

It does what it advertises, and does it well. It lost a star because of the constant asking to share and the cartoony look. I’m not a fan of the cartoon blob interacting with me. I just want to block my distracting apps and get to work.

Great concept but it doesn’t work

Ceevcee

I really wanted to love this app. The concept is great but unfortunately it just doesn’t work. I still get FB messenger messages and IG DMs even on deep focus. I would reset the vpn and would still get messages. To pay however much a month for something you could easily use apple downtime for free makes no sense.

Works well and app team is fast on updates

Fishandfiddlesticks

This is my first time writing a review and I’m doing it because the app team is so prompt with their responses and updates. I had an issue with the app and I reached out and within 2 days they pushed out an update fixing it. (I don’t know if it was because of me, or they would have anyway) but it was awesome. I have no self control with social media and this app works wonders in blocking everything with no workaround! I paid for it and it’s so worth it for me. Otherwise I’d be spending 6 hours a day on TikTok or something.

It sounds ridiculous, but

Procrastinating At W0rk

I was never able to sit and just *work* for a solid hour. I always find something to distract myself, be it social media, YouTube, etc. Yesterday, I tried Opal for the first time and was able to buckle down and seriously focus for an entire hour. I’m only on the 7 day trial, but I feel invigorated and want to keep this habit going for as long as possible!
