Ads can be a nuisance when you really need the train schedule, but what else should I expect from a FREE App?

This app is better than the MTA’s own app, but recent additions of long ads that pop up that you can’t stop or skip is infuriating. Imagine trying to look for a train in a hurry, only to be prevented from doing so because of a useless ad! (Still 4 stars when there are no ads.)

I love the App. Use it all time on Phone. Keeps me in tune with schedule. I’m from Jersey but go to Deer Park from NYPenn all the time.
Color / Visual cue needed to indicate travel direction.

Pretty good app, and game changer for looking up the train schedule. On easy suggestion. The background color should change depending on wether you are traveling east or west in the LIRR. Several times, when in a rush, I end up looking at the wrong direction and miss my train. But a simple visual cue would eliminate this.

Omg not only is the LIRR the worst commuter rail service - overpriced and subsidized by taxes !! Now the app is selling advertising and targeting us with unwanted solicitations ! This is disgraceful !!!
