App freezes on reading meter. Costs increasing.

BarelyToleratingComputers

This app has become total frustration. It used to be easy and reliable to use. Over recent months it has become impossible to get readings from the meter. The app freezes. The only solution is to force close the app. Combine this with strips being available only in packs of 30 at a significantly higher price per strip than the 100 packs I bought before (2x 50 pack), and I have not renewed my subscription to their delivery service. Instead I am switching to a different product provided and delivered for free by our prescription insurance.

this thing is great! I had no idea that monitoring my blood sugar would be this easy… It's actually interesting and even fun!

I would be lost without this

It has been accurate

I was able to see a visual chart to see high and low the sugar levels. They have boxes to write before and after meal Breakfast to Dinner. It is a very small device and accurate the first time. It is only for one person. It only gave 10 days supply test strip and other items which was draw back. I was expecting a 30 day supply. Overall it is good value. The results are fast and easy. It is very compact so you take it with you.

Take very long time to sync

Phil & Kyan.

It takes very long time to sync with account and meter.

New phone pain.

won't post this.

If you get a new phone one touch may not find your old data until facial recognition is set up. It will not communicate with the glucose meter and will allow manual input only. Some data will appear just to fool you.

This app is just what I need. I never remember to take my meter to my doctor’s appointments, with this app it’s in my phone and always available. This is a great tool’. Thank you.

Sending data to other countries…

xneedles

A new update to the app requires agreement that allows your data to be sent, stored, & used in other “countries that may not have the same privacy laws as the country you reside in”. If you don’t agree you can no longer use the app. I won’t be using the app any longer. There should be a way to opt out of this & not share your data with anyone.

OneTouch Reveal App -FAIL

fedup with OneTouch Reveal

The app does not synch properly with an iPhone 13 with IOS 15.1.1 … when synching the app (on phone) to the OneTouch Verio Flex the app will not allow the user to key in the code provided by the glucometer. Instead it only will allow the user to insert “scan text”. The iPhone can’t recognize the code on the glucometer screen. Until this issue is rectified this app and the associated glucometer are an absolute FAIL. If I could the I would rate/ give both ZERO Stars. Note: I was on with Customer Service almost an hour trying to trouble shoot this issue.
