Just stops or no sound

Very frustrating when you’re watching a show and it stops all of a sudden or no sound. Thinking of switching since also they got rid of my CBS channel for many months now with no offer to lower my bill

We’ve had multiple tv companies and DISH by far is the best. When ever there has been a problem or concern someone is out the next day and viola it’s fixed or replaced. I will never go to a different company.

Away or home dish anywhere allows me so much flexibility. Love to be able to watch on my iPad upstairs where there is TV.
Nightmare connectivity with Dish App

What used to be a wonderful app for watching Dish Anywhere remotely with Apple devices is now useless. My husband watches TV in another room in the evening, so if I want to watch TV I use Dish Anywhere. Or that is, I used to watch with Dish Anywhere. It does not work. We have 5G wifi and I have done all the fixes recommended, repeatedly. WHEN will Dish fix this? Have been a Dish customer for 20 years and am looking at Direct TV.

I am using my IPad Pro with the IPad OS 14.3. The IPad dish app version 20.4.20 I called customer service about a month ago relating my issues and they said they were working on the problem and over 500 other users had reported the same problems. The start up screens always end with the red three boxes frozen and now nothing follows that. It used to eventuallly get to an error screen with code 2025 but now it just stays at the boxes. Very occasionally I can get on for a couple of days but then no dice. Before a couple of months ago I had no issues and was very pleased. When I called customer service I suggested they contact users to let them know they were working on the issues and then to let us know when they were fixed....apparently that is beyond what dish can do; I consider this poor customer service. Would appreciate help.

I had a iPhone 7 that worked great with this app, sadly the same can’t be said for the iPhone 12 Pro.. App started fine then nothing but buffering, even at home with a killer WiFi. Ok, problem solved, the app hates my VPN. Checked with my iPad Pro and same issue and same solution, turn off the VPN. ☹️. It would be interesting to find out WHY the VPN is an issue.
