For some reason there is a white rectangle in the middle of the picture, so annoying.

Still stinks. Bring back the 2019 version. I agree with all of the recent reviews. Why can’t you just go back to version 7.28.0? This used to be my favorite app, but it is painful. I now don’t take the upgrades, since every version since January has made the application worse. All I want is an easy transfer to my iPad, and the a fast forward button to go forward 30 seconds and a backward button to go back 10 seconds. Would that be so hard? I would just be so happy if they reverted to last year’s version of the app. —————— This used to be my favorite app, but since January the changes are ALL AWFUL. You took an awesome app and KILLED IT. The new UI is unusable, what was wrong with the buttons. They took the transfers and made them hard to use, you removed the forward button on transfers. How can I just go back to the January release and I would be so happy. I was asked to update the review with more specifics. The issue is not error messages. All of my comments relate to the iPad version. If you want to discuss, send me an email and I would be happy to discuss. Here are my specific complaints: 1. In version 7.29.11 you removed the forward 30 second button from the transfers, and you made the rewind to be 30 seconds instead of 10 seconds. I want the forward button to come back, and liked the backwards 10 seconds. 2. In version 8.1.2 for watching shows from my DVR, you removed the forward and backward buttons, and moved the to arrows in the top left corner. That change is MUCH less functional. 3. In version 8.1.2 when I have lots of a program on my DVR, you added a “Season” drop down to filter between the programs. The old Way was a long list to scroll through. The old way scrolling through the list was MUCH easier to deal with. 4. Watching shows that are both on my DVR and On Demand was much easier prior to 8.1.2 when you kind of merged them. 5. Putting transfers onto its own “island” is a pain, and less functional. 6. When watching a show on 8.1.2, if I click the screen the show pauses. I HATE this. I like the old way where I can click to see the time, and see the controls but the show keeps going. 7. I don’t like having to minimize the show when watching it from my DVR to get the “X” in order to close the show. It is clunky.

DVR Ghost Rcordings

Regardless of tablet, the DVR shows numerous recordings that were Not programmed on Hooper3. I’m on second replacement Hooper, and these Ghost recordings are not coming from the Hooper3, nor do they show up on Hooper. It’s now been weeks of non programmed recordings showing up on the APP that in actuality are Not on the Hooper3. Please fix the APP!

Come on Apple. Every day you allow this app to remain you are helping dish perpetuate this scam on their customers. The app pauses, glitches, loses audio. You cannot even watch a few minutes of a program and this has been broken for the better part of the year. PLEASE DE-LIST DISH AND FORCE THEM TO FIX THEIR APP!!!!!!!!!!

It freezes everyday I use the app. I have to restart my IPad or delete the app and reinstall it. Sometimes that works and sometimes it does not. Please resolve that glitz!!!!

Been using it, well trying to, it lags behind movies show what ever i watch is constantly having issues, constant interruptions, check internet its perfect 1gb/sec service The commercials play perfectly find but not a movie very dissatisfied

I have been using this app for years with no problems. In fact, it is the reason I stay with Dish. However,I just recently updated it and everything has changed. It now looks just like the android version which is fine. The problem is, I can’t watch anything now. Nothing will load. I have deleted the app several times to no avail. I need this app to work. I am using an IPad Pro 2018. When I click on a channel or recording, it just spends forever trying to load. There is one or two items under top picks that will actually play, but nothing else. It was working perfectly before the update. I am very disappointed! Update: I am now able to view programming which is great. However, I don’t have the fast forward, reverse, or record icons on my play screen. Also, the shows that are recorded on the current day do not show up on the dvr, or recently recorded menus. This is the same problem with the android version. Hope you can fix this. Thank you.
