*Transfer functionality requires high-speed internet connection to a Hopper 2 or Hopper 3 DVR. Your mobile device must be connected to the same home network as the Hopper2 or Hopper 3 to transfer a recording and you must maintain an active DISH account to view transferred recordings. Select recordings are not available to transfer due to programming restrictions. Sling Adapter functionality is not supported.

There is a constant grey rectangle in the center of the screen whenever I try to watch from the app. You can't remove it and can't find any help anywhere else.

If you want to use your phone as a remote do not upgrade. After struggling with all of the bugs and glitches of the newer version for quite a while I searched and found this version still intact.

Since you put out the software upgrade for Dish Anywhere I haven’t been able to use it on my IPad. I just get a gray screen that goes nowhere. I downloaded the old software and I can at least get some of the channels to work. I can’t get the Dish Anywhere to work on my Android cell phone at all. I’ve deleted it and reloaded it several times, all to no avail.

Tried the new one, hated it, went back to the old one. As they say, “ if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” It wasn’t broke! Neither was original Coke! Now the guide didn’t change the time (fall back) so all of the shows are listed one hour later.
