The Absolute Worst Marketplace

This app is the single biggest waste of my time in daily life. There are none but scammers and ridiculous fools who would be arrested for fraud for attempting to offer on items with no intention of paying. The company simply does not care, gleefully having tanked what was an amazing app through which I had sold things quickly and easily. It’s amazing how most reviews for all these apps are so glowing, what a time we live in. Yet to think of all the basic functional and even profitable software lost in the last ten years is maddening and heartbreaking. OfferUp epitomizes the regressive nature of today’s novelties, presented as improved but always so much worse.

Impossible to Use

I had alerts turned on, so if someone messaged me in OfferUp or an item sold, I’d know. The problem is that the app was constantly dinging my phone for other, stupid alerts. I turned notifications off. But now I miss out on sales, because I don’t know when there’s activity in the app.
Unresponsive—-NOT a good app anymore

Used to be a great app, but now too many commercial sales. My listing are NOT appearing in feed (even when I select newest or closest to me) . Messaging not working well either. Customer service——Not responsive. My last rating has NOT appeared. Doubt this one will either

Your app needs to update every two or three months all post , there are posts from over 2 years and those should not still showing as post

There are obvious scammers on the web site specifically on cars and trucks for sale post. These people don’t have contact except for email that you go to and is hacked from there. JMO…. Just be careful

i tried to accept my first offer but it was automatically declined because i hadn’t fully set up my account with tax information. you shouldn’t be able to list things without setting that up if the app will just automatically cancel them. please hire ux testers.
Absolute garbage support

My account has been shadow banned for months for literally no reason. My listings are all stuck at zero views because for some reason the app decided to restrict my account. Reached out to support multiple times over the last 2 months with literally no response. You would think an app of this stature would have at least one guy answering support requests, but nope. Way too much to ask for for these guys. Great app when it works, but you better hope to god it never stops because it’s over after that. Stick to Facebook marketplace.
Nothing happens during sign in

Trying to sign in using Google Account. Clicked the button, it’s loading for forever and nothing happens. 1 star
