Can’t connect

It used to work and now can’t connect I thought it was my adapter but found out it’s the app. Maybe the last update messed it up. I paid for the pro and now it’s useless
Better than a stand alone OBDII DTC reader

Ive used a lot of different OBDII scanners. From $30-$100 dollar devices. I still have several, the more expensive scanners come with their own expensive displays and cost in the hundreds of dollars. Why not use your already expensive iPad for your scanner display? Well this app makes it work. I’m getting far more information for diagnostics than a simple code reader/deletor costing three times as much. Just tried it out for the first time and immediately upgraded to the pro version. Only tried it out on one vehicle, Toyota Camry. Had to adjust a couple settings to get it to connect, once I did it seamlessly connects automatically now. I will have to wait and see how well it holds up but as of today I give it a big thumbs up.
Sorry, yes, OBD2 should detect airbag!

Thank you for your reply, in which you explain to me that „airbag has nothing to do with OBD2“. Now that explains me why your software doesn’t work - if you as the software developer don’t know that OBD2 is indeed the only existing interface for exactly this purpose and many other purposes and that is used by ALL professional car workshops to detect ANY error in the cars and to reset/erase ANY error code. As you don’t know that this is the case, no wonder that your software cannot know... For my purpose therefore complete waste of money and time!

Another wonderful update where features are removed. Thanks for taking a perfectly good app and making it worthless. Sure I can pay for the upgrade, but it the point. “Sorry Johnny that we are in the candy store..no candy for you”. In the future just don’t put the features in from the beginning.

After I purchased Korea ELM-327, I had to downloaded a basic app. Everything worked fine between a device and iPhone via WiFi but it did not provided enough information on the screen, very little like 5% or less about air temperature in the engine and room temperature was all I had. Pretty expensive to buy a device and the basic app sucked! Not sure, do I really want to purchase $ 9.99 app? Why do I have to spend the money this and that things?

Hi there , please add info gauges ! Please ! I bought full version and i don’t see any live gauges ! It’s really useful and necessary , please make me and lot of other users happier! I’ll give you 5 star and best review possible if you do that , and also i’ll be so much thankful!

It’s great software but it’s a bit expensive. Especially when there are a lot cheaper options that will do just about the same thing.

Free version does not clear trouble codes. I will find another rap. Luckily I have a scan tool that I bought for $100 years ago that will suffice.

The description given of the “free app” is very misleading! I thought it would do much more than read codes. Also,the app did not connect the way the instructions said to, but I figured out how to get it connected. It is free, but they mislead you into expecting much more than a simple code reader. “Basic” won’t clear codes or show gauges as described! If they change the description I will be willing to rate them higher.
