Why expired?

App is pretty dependable. Love purchasing tickets here. Bus locator is great. I'm happy with it!!!

Great app

NYC TAXI RIDER

Makes using the ferry so much easier!

10% Good

The real time bus locator is not just bad but often completely wrong which can really screw you up since these shuttles do NOT run frequently and waiting for one is a huge part of your overall travel time. The upside of this app is it provides information for which you might otherwise have to call their 800-53Ferry "customer service" number where you deal with consistently arrogant and nasty phone reps. And don't even THINK about asking for help at the Midtown/39th bus dispatch desk because they do NOT like questions, especially the PEOPLE with the audacity to ask them.

App shuts down. Purchases disappear!

This is a sketchy app. After making a purchase the app shy down. After restarting my two tickets were gone. Luckily the ticket attendant let us board the boat anyway after explaining what happened. Good app for checking the schedule but I won't use it for tickets again.

App Doesn't Work with Apple Pay

Michael Pinto

Wasted time entering in credit card info and it doesn't work, and then the app signs you up for something called "Bytemark" which you then have to waste additional time to de-activate. So if you just want to get a one day boarding pass this app is a HUGE waste of time...

Awesome App

Imbilta

Just perfect. Next step is to detect where we are and propose schedule.

Signs out constantly

therealjdt

Signs you out after too short a period of "inactivity."

Have fun losing money

Never, ever use this app to purchase or store tickets. The app signed me out and lost a ticket I had been saving for a month (they are valid for three months). There goes $4! I was annoyed but oh well. While waiting for my ferry, I bought a second ticket, and activated it when a ferry pulled up right on schedule. Turned out to be a different ferry! My ferry showed up 20 minutes late. As we were boarding, I pulled out the app to show my new ticket, and it expired before my eyes. I had to buy a third ticket. There goes $4 more. Just use paper tickets. It's not worth it.
