This app is easy, reliable and convenient. I use the ferry for my commute in Brooklyn and it has never let me down.
Works, but why no passbook? Stop turning up brightness

Amazing app gets such low marks and no one does much about it? It's annoying that when you show your e-pass the app turns your brightness up to 100% and leaves it there. If you don't turn it back down there goes your battery life for the day if you keep using your phone. And why not use passbook? That way you don't have to keep going into it and activating the monthly ticket. Strange the developers think they've got better ideas considering the flaws. Finally seem to have lost some tickets restoring an iPhone. Claims locked to my iPhone as if another iPhone. Lame, amateur.

Has worked well for me and very happy. Totally beats standing in line for tickets. Just had an issue as had a new phone and several tickets locked on old device. Sent email feedback and super fast service from Bytemark. They unlocked to my new device in less than 5 mins! Thanks :)
Bus Locator alone makes this app valuable

There are acronyms in place of the names of the destinations. Not cool. How can people who don't live in NYC know what they mean? I live here and am having issues figuring it out. Typical.

However I would never use this for e-tickets. The terminals and ferry operators place signs for you to activate your ticket while you wait. Guess what? When your denied boarding because of capacity and you activated a ticket you just lost your money. And they will make you feel like the idiot when you complain and no refund. Or your phone dies, now you need to buy a ticket.
