Was great.. now not so much

EMoney0305

I’ve been using this for about a year to help budget my finances. Great app, had everything I needed. A few days ago I noticed now numbers won’t save anything. It lags when I make updates to my spreadsheet and all it says now is “cannot save spreadsheet.” I’m connected to WiFi and have plenty of cloud space so there’s no reason for this issue. I can’t even use the app anymore now

Stock function no longer “live”

JZZ63

If you use Stock function, DO NOT UPGRADE!!! Unfortunately the new version does not provide live or nearly live price quotes for stocks. It was a great feature, but appears no longer supported. I regret upgrading as it made my spreadsheets pretty much useless (the stock prices are previous close only. ...unless the functionality is somehow hidden and I’m not aware of it, but for now the app is useless.

Great spreadsheets! Other stuff tho...

I love this app and it helps me organize my shots for my stop motion movies and I recommend it for planners, but it is not for the advanced.

This is my “go to” app

RSL08

I love this app! My primary uses are for a monthly budget and a daily complex TV schedule (2 households, multiple recordings, 4 DVRs+). I would love to see the following three features added: (1) the ability to click/tap on an image (or just several merged cells containing text) and pop-up a larger version of the image/merged cells**. (2) the ability to use multiple merged cells to hand write notes using the Apple Pencil (varying nib sizes, move the merged notes around and/or cut/delete like any other cell or merged cells). (3) the ability to insert a moveable and removable window (either set or expandable size, like 4 cells wide and high to 6 cells, or more, wide and high) that would accept animated GIFs and/or video clips. Features 1 and 2 are features I could use immediately. UPDATE: Feature request 3 was added in the latest update. I have a new feature request... the ability to see the history of shared access, like number of visits and date of at least the most-recent visit. **This would really help my friend (with poor near-vision) read the individual blocks of information on the TV schedule.

Cannot use light green for cell fill color

Tperk0999

I use this for my budget and I cannot select a light hue of green easily. The scroll bar takes over the grid and it’s a poor design for those that need to use those shades.

Grape

This app is so grape

missing some simple features

Numbers generally is fun and easy to use, except one major annoyance for me in the iOS version: please add ability to unhide specific rows or columns -- nright now one can only unhide all rows or columns, which is very cumbersome if you work with hidden rows a lot. additional suggestions for iOS version: since one cannot add a page break in Numbers, it would be really useful to have the yellow pull down guides that are available on the desktop version, since you can mark page breaks with these and format accordingly. lastly, ability to set a print range on a worksheet for pdf export.
