Really needs a stop button and an explanation on what the undo button actually undoes. The count-in with the metronome feels off also turning on/off the metronome feels clunky. I also feel there needs to be a way to edit passages and tweak expressions after they're recorded. Some of the nicer sounds are very difficult to play.

Good sounds AU crashes make it unusable

AU support got my attention.. Sounds are spectacular however drums don’t work in AU mode. Also crashes quite frequently in GarageBand. Looking forward to stability fixes.

This is a very good app for the music lovers. It have a lot of great features that works really well. And i love the design of the app, very simple and easy to use. Love it.

Great app but buggy execution

I love using the great instruments in Noise with garage band but the keyboard is very buggy and sliding/sensitivity isn’t good. I can slide my finger ever so slightly up and the intensity skyrockets for some reason ruining the subtle transition from strings to horns. Please see you you can fix this issue and you’ll have my 5 stars!

The app is fun, tactile and grows as your prowess and imagination do. Far from perfect, but I appreciate that the ROLI team takes user sentiments into account and then adjusts accordingly. I do wish that they would do more to celebrate those that champion the company and do all they can to spread and push this musical revolution forward.

It’s fun for a few minutes, but they’ve put most of the content behind in-app purchases, even when you’ve already bought their overpriced hardware.

WARNING: ROLI Hardware Only!

I use a Linnstrument controller, which I’m very happy with. On the desktop, some of my favorite VST instruments are the SWAM stuff by Audio Modeling (previously Sample Modeling). Roli announced that they were releasing some of these Audio Modeling instruments on the NOISE platform, so I got NOISE and downloaded the three SWAM instrument packs (for about $30). Then I realized that the only controllers compatible with this app are ROLI controllers via bluetooth. So that’s $30 wasted for me. Until there is (non bluetooth) MPE midi control capability, this app is useless to me, and ROLI should CLEARLY state in the description that only their hardware will work with this app.

New update added export to Audioshare!!!

I'm updating my review since the latest update. They added export To Audioshare which is a major step forward. This small feature makes it so you can actually use the loops/songs you create with other apps, like your DAW and so on. They just turned Noise into a usable musical app! Thank you Roli team!!!

I’ve been using GarageBand for a while when I found this app, if I had no clue how to use it but once I got into it I realized it was a godsend. ROLI is a great company and all of their products are fantastic I can’t wait to get more of them
