Great when it worked, but…

MissMaru

This app did exactly what I needed it to do. Then, in November, it just stopped. No data at all since November 6th. Makes it hard to track what I need. Deleted and reinstalled to no avail and the CS interface is impossible.

The time limit

chidochido6543

The game does not shut off after the time limit has passed. Why??

Needs to be revamped

Qrstuv83819

This whole app needs some major changes like the ability to set time limits for different user accounts on the same switch. Also, needs a setting to restrict play times not just a bedtime. Maybe I want the switch off between 12-1pm or maybe I don’t want it on until after 9am. The current app is too basic. Please consider making it more useful.

Either nonfunctional or hard to use

GreatOrCrappyappfinder

I got this app and set up a two hour (per day) time limit for my child to use it. Apparently the time limit is optional. That is the stupidest default I can imagine. I set a time limit. Why would I want it to be optional?

Ineffective parental controls

OkiMegan

You can set a daily time limit, which is great. However, when time is up the system doesn’t lock and restrict access; it just tells the player that time is up and then allows them to continue to play.

Piece of crap

Worst of the worst I want to throw my phone into a wall

Time Limit

Ronnyetta

The time limit doesn’t appear to be working effectively - need it to block the device after the limit.

Parents need more and better partnership

Mom seeking balance

During COVID, playing with friends has become both an important outlet and a concerning pattern and need for my 12 year old boy. Among other things when it comes to helping him be balanced with gaming and school and physical activity and etc, I would like more control over setting a time window with start AND end times that stick. And somehow my kid seems to play through the limits consistently when on Fortnite. Honestly it makes me want to get rid of the Switch to get rid of that stress and conflict in my life because the way controls are designed now he feels like I am an enemy, doing something to him. It would be way better if there were a way for him to participate in a healthy way. I do appreciate that the controls exist at all but feel like it’s an MVP. I find myself wondering …how might the super smart Nintendo designers enhance what exists and create a kid-facing approach to help them be a part of learning to self-manage and monitor? Pediatricians and child development experts are clear that 2 hrs of screen time is a MAX for healthy well-rounded children, across all platforms. Let’s all work together to make that more viable? Thanks for asking.

Family’s have different ages

sugarkatzen

I really wish people of different ages could be listed with different parental controls. It’s not fair to the teenagers to have to use toddler rules and it’s not safe for the toddlers to be using teenager to mature games.

App not working

Freaking programmers

How comes the app doesn’t work with iOS 15? I log in ok but it comes back with an error saying “…this page cannot be displayed. Please start the process over from the beginning.” Any ideas???
