I wish I had found this app sooner. It’s worker great to limit play this summer. He plays his designated time and is done for the day.

Instead of having to ask your child multiple times at the end of screen time to turn it off, the Switch just automatically sleeps at the end of whatever parental time limit you set. Boom, done ?
Needs individual timers

It’s kind of odd that there is no individual timer for each account. This is needed. I’d live to give both of my kids 2 hours each on Saturday but I can only do 2 hours or 4 hours total and hope they split it. And if I play , let’s hope I forget to turn it off.

Works well so I don’t get so wrapped up in my switch it’s already 8:00, but sometimes there’s limitations, especially when I’m downloading Mario Party and I want to conserve the battery on one of my tablets. I’ll have to figure out how to completely disable it sometimes when I buy new games and the gigabytes are taking forever to download. Works great later when the spiders come?

This app’s lack of options is astounding. The time limit is useless if it doesn’t shut off automatically. If I am at work or my son is with someone else I have to message whoever he is with and ask them to make him get off. I also didn’t get a notification for his time limit today.

I am writing a parental review of the Nintendo Switch parental control app from bed. I wear reading glasses now, but have played Nintendo for over 30 years and love it. Have you found the warp whistle yet? This app is so much better than screen time on Apple. I can easily disable tracking for a day, turn it back on, or turn it back off. I like it let me see kid play monthly summary fun time! It’s also easy for me to turn the machine back on after the kids go to bed (if you knows why I mean)!

you can not select certain games so that they do not appear on the child profile. Nintendo should implement this system that promotes safety for children.
