Create a Route

I would give it five stars if it allowed you to create and load routes like the under armor app does!

Bring back “My Coach” feature!

elmemi

I started running more seriously at the start of the pandemic. The My Coach feature made it easy for me to know how to approach each run, vary my workouts, and gradually increase my mileage, even with my limited running experience. I was excited to see my distance grow each week and I felt the My Coach made doing hard workouts manageable, because I could follow the suggested run and feel satisfied with my progress each week. I stopped running for a while due to an injury and am extremely disappointed to see that the My Coach feature is gone. The guided runs are fine, but as someone who enjoys listening to non-running related podcasts during runs, this feature is not useful for me. Please bring the My Coach feature back!

Update! Ruined!

My Review Is

Progressively terrible. Today I walked the same route I have walked for ages. Same speed. Two says ago, and forever before that, it registered as 4.16 miles (or so). Today, it measures as 2.97. Ridiculous! If I try to add miles, my run doesn't count towards challenges. I have used this app (and it's predecessors) for years. Now it is LESS functional and it is full of bugs. Half the time it takes over a minute of hang time before it even begins to track my run. I have to wait and watch it to make sure it is running or it may not track it at all! Can't retire shoes, so I have a mile-long list to sort through. No longer have the challenges. It is stale, buggy, hard to use and annoying.

If it isn't Nike plus

If it isn't Nike plus I don't run

Used to be great :(

Where'd the Traing Plans Go?

I used to really enjoy this app and used it to train for several races. Recent updates removed the training plan features—please bring that back! Until then, I’ll have to find a new app to train for my next race.

Crashes Ruin an Otherwise Good App

Hans Raab

The Nike Run app on my watch regularly seems to crash at the start of a run, which I don’t realize until I’m over a mile in and the built in Apple Workout app asks me if I’m going for a run. The Watch app also crashes a decent amount when I finish a run. If it doesn’t crash, I usually have to sit there hitting the End button several times before the app actually reacts and ends the run. Even when it works, the Watch app and the phone app don’t sync up quickly when the two devices are reunited. It’s too bad because the design of the apps is great, but the quality underneath just isn’t there. BTW: I’ve tried resetting both the phone and watch to see if it fixed anything - it hasn’t. I’ve had the app for 8 months, haven’t seen any improvement but I will update this review if I do.

Worse App Ever!

NoVAXXER

It won’t even let you delete it out of your phone.

Fantastic

dgordom

I have never had much motivation for running or exercising for that matter. The begging guided runs with Coach Bennett have literally changed everything. The app is also fantastic. Cool motivating features have been really helpful towards getting me excited about running.

Whoop Compatibility?

JosephF95

I’m sure you guys are aware of the whoop band? The only thing missing is the nike run app being compatible with my whoop band - then i can track my heart rate variability while i’m on my run. Think about it! It would be a wonderful addition.

Life Changing App

Nike Run Club has helped open my eyes to new opportunities . I had no idea how much potential I was wasting by walking around trying to burn calories. By timing myself and seeing how far I could go has helped me pick up the pace and tap into a higher potential . I’ve not only gotten faster, but I started looking forward to going for a run late nights and even some early mornings. I discovered new areas of my city, learned more about my body, and started to achieve more in life .
