Terrible with my Apple Watch!

LoloMarugg

I use this app all the time, and have for years. Nothing does a better job of tracking run stats and shoes - hypothetically. But be sure you don’t care about being able to access that data, and forget being able to sync runs tracked with your watch back to your phone. And often, the app will crash mid-run.

Beginning Runner

This is an excellent app for beginners through advanced runners. Coaches are very supportive. I start running in June of 2021 and now I have lost some 25lbs.

Needs Watch Integration

Teleios

Good app, does everything right and easy to use on the phone - but cannot do training plans through the watch , cannot track treadmill runs through the watch if they’ve started on the phone. Coordinating between the phone and watch is tough with pods too, which may just be a apple hardware issue. We don’t want to run with phones anymore.

Easy running

Love this app. It helped me by building my confidence to just start running. It is very motivational and helps you focus while you’re running. Lots of support and encouragement. I’m a new runner and I always thought running was about how fast you go until I started my journey with the Nike running app. Definitely recommend.

Cheers Coach.

Coach Bennett’s Guided Runs are nothing short of phenomenal, especially for someone just starting out. I went from doing nothing in terms of running to wanting to open this app every day

New update Jan 2022 Buggy

DoBetterNikeAndApple

I use the NRC app on Apple Watch SE, have used for months without issues. The newest update makes the app close as soon as you open it, multiple times. Sometimes will let you into the app and let you download runs, has been sketchy. If you hit the button to recall recently used apps on the Apple Watch when you are in the app it takes you to the previous screen within the app and not out to the recent apps list.

Was great but keeps taking things away

Title basically says it all, used to be very helpful with multiple plans to follow now there 2 a half marathon and a newbie plan you can’t edit it with times and paces like you used to. Now it’s very generic and I really only use it as a gps guide so I know how far I’ve gone and when to stop. Gave it 3 stars instead of a one which is what I think the product is now because it USED to be good and helpful. I’m already looking for a new app so I can delete this one! Sorry coach Bennett won’t be seeing you on the next one anymore

One nit

Papa__Joe

This app helped me get motivated to run a 10k last year and I used to hate running. My one request- I use the Nike guided runs on my Apple Watch and the latest version (a) takes forever to scroll and (b) pops back to the main screen after the app backgrounds. So if I download the run and don’t immediately press start I have to spend 30+ seconds going back and finding that guided run. My suggestion would be to make a group of downloaded runs on the featured run screen to facilitate easily going back to the run I just downloaded. I promise to buy some new Nike running shoes if you can help fix my very particular problem ?

Foul Play!

Just deleted NRC because they are now wanting me to log in through Nike.com to collect info about me….. not cool….. Thanks Apple for allowing us to make the choice, for the most part, on who sees our info and who doesn’t. Ok, and let’s be clear, I’m not so foolish to believe that Apple is not getting my info. Stop the algorithms!

Excellent… EXCEPT 1 MAJOR FLAW

Absolutely love this app, in fact it’s what got me into running and ultimately led me to taking full charge of my health. I am grateful for this app, the developers, coach Bennett, Nike, etc. As I grew as a runner, I started caring about additional metrics such as heart rate. One flaw that this app has is, if you’re wearing an Apple Watch, it’ll only constantly update your heart rate if you’re listening to a guided run. I took this app out for a four mile hill run today and it took my heart rate twice. Super disappointing and frustrating during the run! I ask that the developers kindly look into this. Besides this ONE flaw, thank you again for creating such an amazing and inspiring app.
