Great APP! ?

SA?Rose

This APP is Awesome!

Neat idea

Kev05211

Very neat idea. I have been using it for about a month and have learned of neighbor events, sold items, learned of loose dogs and a host of other stuff. Good way to stay informed

Just one complaint

Dennis Farr

Overall I love Nextdoor, but after all this time I am not able to initiate a post. Any help would be appreciated!

Great to be informed.

There aren’t a lot of people in Lexington Kentucky that have it, but the ones that do are active and the police department and other state agencies are pretty quick to add advisories and such, 10/10 would recommend

Great app

wildcat the first

Love it

Useful, just needs a little refinement

Mr meow OH YEAH

I enjoy the app but it is a little clumsy. Useful but profiles etc are a pain. May just be my personal bias from using other social media. I will certainly keep using it, though.

A wonderful way to list lost and found, neighborhood alerts and links to trades people who can do what you need done!

Nope.

Dann in SF

I downloaded this because I live in major city and wanted to stay connected with neighbors about crime and such. I ended up having my inbox overloaded with people asking to couch surf or donate money. It wasn’t my immediate neighborhood, it was THE ENTIRE CITY!!!! After changing to “some” notifications, I still continued to get bombarded by emails from people 10 miles from me asking for free stuff. unless you want to literally have people emailing for money, to stay at your house, to join their cause, etc, then DON’T USE THE APP!!!

Horrible app...

EvenMartins

People can post personal disputes, defame each other and get away with it because it goes out without prior review. If the “Lead” is bad, as with my community, they will allow and contribute to hostility and you have to contact the App company to have it removed, but they keep the Lead no matter how bad. The “Lead” can violate company policies many times and not be removed. Horrible oversight, very few people use it in our community and nearby communities. Get better info and mangagement on FB pages.

Not ideal for scoping out new neighborhoods.

I am moving in a few weeks and tried to join the new neighborhood so I can start going to events in the area and getting to know the neighbors. What/who to look out for and the helpful tips about where to shop etc. it won’t let me because it can’t confirm my address. I don’t have a choice where I move, as I am moving into my boyfriends house he owns but if I was looking to purchase or rent a new place using this app to get an real sense of the neighborhood from people who currently live there would be super helpful.
