This device literally connects every single device we own instantly and automatically and within seconds including printers, Alexa, appliances etc. if Orbi goes full Terminator my money is on this amazing device
Does not work can’t find router or satellites

App can’t find the satellite or router. Even having it as the only wifi connection on and connected to is. This app doesn’t have the right developer. It’s like netgear doesn’t know what they are doing and you can’t use your wifi unless you sign in through browser only. Update: they finally contacted me today to say they have fixed the problem. They must be joking bc I downloaded the newly updated app and the problem still exists. Maybe they should try the app before telling people they fixed it. Being connected to the Wi-Fi the app can’t find the router or satellites. I was excited to hear the app was updated and I’d be able to use the app. But no that doesn’t work either. Also another thing. In order to change any settings you have to reset the router because the orbilogin link doesn’t work and you can’t log into the router using the IP address either. Maybe that’s why they can’t fix the app.

Orbi always amazes me when I need to go do a setup or add a satellite. It’s always so easy. We have a 1gb cable modem from spectrum and we see Orbi speeds between 725 and 925 download. That’s FAST. Thanks Orbi

This app is absolutely horrible. Whoever designed it should be ashamed and hopefully out of a job. One day just stopped recognizing my new Orbi; saying device is offline. I’m literally connected to the Wifi from the Orbi on the phone I’m accessing the app from. How is that offline? The app worked fine one day (albeit an absolute pain to use) then it got an update and no longer works. Please remove this incompetence root and stem. I will not be buying any future Netgear products due to their absolutely abysmal software; app and router alike.

I bought the Orbi ax6000 rbk 852, mesh system with 1 satellite. I own a 3000 square foot, smart home, two story with 4 bedrooms and 3 baths . I had a awesome nighthawk x10 which is one of the worlds fastest routers, so I unsure if the Orbi would be better.. but I’m happy to say the Orbi blankets my entire home with Wi-Fi! I had 1 extender with the nighthawk x10, but I still had some area that streaming Netflix would lag some. I about 65 devices using Wi-Fi. I’ve speed tested every room before and after switching to the Orbi. My worst room had a download top speed of around 210.0 mbps, now with the Orbi it’s 380.0 mbps! My best rooms didn’t change much, but I didn’t expect them too because I have spectrum 400 mbps service. All my best rooms are 420-470 mbps!!!! Now I can sell my awesome but expensive nighthawk x10?. The Orbi is awesome we can stream 4k to 4 tvs while playing on 2 game systems online with no buffering!!!!!

Very impressed with app and router. Spend extra money and dump the ISP router. Gain privacy and less ISP restrictions. know, I have tried multiple routers that claim to increase speed and mitigate WiFi interference. I live in a neighborhood, so the houses are close. I had a huge problem with network reliability and interference. Ever since switching to Orbi, I don’t have a long problems. I am very…very impressed with the network reliability. I went from speeds of 220 mpbs to 900 mbps+. Great product and highly recommend to anyone struggling with WiFi reliability and latency issues. P.S. lose the default gateway provided by the ISP and use this to replace it. I’m telling you…. Well worth it!

Netgear overcame some bugs they had with the parental control system a few months ago. Now it’s working reliably well and is a godsend to our family.
